WORK EXPERIENCE:
Woking as a hydrogeogist since 1997. selected through a all india level examination. Organisation - central ground water board, govenrment of india. joined in service on 30-4-1997 as hydrogeologist (scientist B). Duties: groundwater management studies, groundwater monitoring, groundwater exploration( hard rock and sedimentary drilling), collection of samples, preperation of lithologs, electrical logging and sounding, long duration pumping tests (APT, SDT)to detrmine aquifer charecteristics, piezometer construction and insatllation of automatic water level recorders and data retirval.
Articial recharge studies and rainwater harvesting tequiniques. groundwater estimation.
Exposure in remotesensing and GIS and modeling studies using GMS

Located high yielding wells usimg toposheets, land sat imageries and fiels studies. artificial rechrge porjects are implimentd like sub surface dams and percoaltion tanks and tidal regulators. Worked in hydrology project of wold bank, and tsunami related work

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION:
SSLC, predegree, BSc, MSc and PHD BSC 2nd Rank, Msc 1st Rank.
recipient of young scientist award, govermnet of kerala during 2002. for the best work in land and water mangement
