1) JBIC Assisted Kerala Water Supply Project:
This project envisages comprehensive Water Supply Improvements for 5 taluks in Kerala state with assistance from Japan Bank for International Co-operation. This includes two major cities Trivandrum and Kozhicode, Towns and Villages in three thaluks of Cherthala, Meenad, and Pattuvam catering to 80 villages. Estimated project cost is around 360 million US$. This is ever-biggest water supply project being implemented in India. Tokyo Engineering Consultants Co Ltd, Japan, is the Prime consultant of this project for detailed design and construction supervision. The other Consortium partners are Binnie Black and Veatch of UK, GKW consultants from Germany, STC, Mumbai and CED, Thiruvananthapuram. The scope of work is to Design and Supervise the construction of Intake structures, Water treatment plants, Raw Water Pumping mains and treated water Transmission mains, Booster pumping station, Service reservoirs and distribution system.

Responsibilities:
On site:
Feasibility Study of Intake, Water Treatment Plant, Service Reservoir sites, Raw Water and Treated Water Transmission main. Overall supervision of Topo Survey and Geo-Technical Investigation and Monitoring of Water Quality. Liaison with Kerala Water Authority Officials and other related agencies to collect data relevant to WSS such as Mapping of Existing Water Supply lines.

Designed:
Design of under water pipe line Crossing (PE), Hydraulic design of Distribution Networks for 21 Villages using EPANET- 2.0 Software. Assisted for Report preparation of Hydraulic Calculations.
