Senior Maintenance Area Leader

1. Manage a team of three area leaders, six team leaders and in excess of sixty millwrights, electricians, controls techs and apprentices in co-ordination with the tooling, engineering, quality and production groups to improve safety, increase throughput and quality while reducing operating costs in the hydroform department and plant services mechanical room
2. Research and develop action plans to meet target rates, improve efficiency and reduce scrap
3. Promote and develop a team atmosphere that is condusive to high morale and common objectives
4. Research and implement several large scale cost savings projects
5. Assist in long range planning for future programs at Formet Industries
6. Assist in the development of Formet policy with other senior area leaders and department leader
7. Develop area and team leaders for succession planning
