A total contract value of LE 255 millions.
Partner: KRUPP UHDE GmbH Dortmund, Germany.

Working with ORASCOM Construction Industries
In Egypt Liquidation Natural Gas Project Damietta Port -Egypt
Partner: J.V. between Kellogg Brown & Root ( a Halliburton Company), JGC ( Japanese Gas Company) and TR (Tecnicas Reunites Spanish Company) in Liquefied Natural Gas Plant in DAMIETTA which is owned by SEGAS (Spanish Egyptian Gas Company - Union Fenosa - Enni).

Working with ORASCOM Construction Industries with EDF East Port Said Power Plant. -Egypt
A turnkey construction (1+1) x 341 MW Steam Power Plant at Port Said Sites.

Working with ORASCOM Construction Industries in the project of Ammonia / Urea Fertilized Plant - Suez I. - Egypt. A turnkey project for a complete Ammonia / Urea Fertilizer Plant in collaboration with UHDE, GmbH, Dortmund, Germany with total contract value of EGP. 155 million.

Position: Technical mechanical assistance of the site manager.

Working with Kobe Steel LDT. (Japan) in Alexandria National for Iron & Steel Dekhela-Egypt 800,000 tons per year Direct Reduction iron, Project Value (U.S. $ 120 Million)

Working with Kobe Steel LTD. (Japan) in Bani-Suef Cement Plant-Egypt
1 Million ton per year (project value U.S. $ 318 Million) dealing with the client National Cement Company and with the consultant, Arab Swiss Engineering Co. (ASEC) and with the erection sub contractor, Fillipo Fochi of Italy.

Following are key focus area of professional experience:-

- Lead a team of engineers for the following activities
Document control and checking specifications and drawing to ensure coordination between different disciples
Following up fabrication work shops and expedite the delivery to meet the erection schedule
Prepare Material submittal to get approval from the Clint also issue material request or purchase order and expedition for the delivery
Material control including receiving material and making OSD (Over -Shortage -Damage) report and issue material to field engineers
Issuing Request for information to the main contractor also proposing the techniques to solve filed problems
Provide technical support during erection work that include prepare for erection method statement, lifting study of heavy equipment,
Preparation of piping welding map of the isometric& defining the field weld and shop weld and takeoff of piping and pipe support
Dealing, organize and direct with all mechanical work as steel structure, equipment, piping, supports, painting, cladding and insulation
Monitor the estimates Bill of Quantities (B.O.Q) and ensures their correctness during the engineering and construction stages of the project.
Monitor and analyze contractors and subcontractors progresses
Prepare estimates of probable costs of materials, labor and equipment based on contract bids, quotations, schematic drawings and specification
Reporting status of subcontract cost and forecasting final cost.
Providing advice on contractual claims
Assess and recommend payment to contractors during construction.
Check on changes of design to assess the effect on cost and evaluating the cost of work changes
Perform project Hand over procedure to client
- Dealing with the sub-contractor for design the equipment of Material Handling Area, this included Belt Conveyors, Oxide & Products Bins, Feeders, Screen, Pneumatic Conveyor and dust collection system.
- Planning for mobilization and demobilization
- Responsible for the supervision of the erection work for:-
Homo Silo, Kiln Feed, Preheater Tower, By Pass, Cement Silos, Packing Plant & Paper Sac Factory.
Water treatment system.
Sewage treatment system
Fire fighting system (water system, foam & dry chemical)
Heat insulation and painting
- Inspection and supervision of erection work for:
Pumps (water, booster, dosing, pneumatic)
Blower (roots, turbo)
Drums, Elevators
Conveyor (belt, pan, screw, chain, bucket elevator)
Bag filter, electrostatic filter, exhaust fan, process fan.
Chutes ducts, supports & piping.
Gate, collecting bin, tanks.
Electrical hoist, overhead cranes.
Weigh bridge, vacuum cleaner.
- Commissioning, cold run test and completion.
