Objective
To develop, implement and/or manage utilization and environmental compliance of by-products generated by either a coal, energy or manufacturing company in an environmentally safe and economically beneficial manner that would otherwise be disposed or unused; and to develop long-term management options for these by-products.

Experience
December 2001-Present Combustion Products Management, Inc. Manager Ithaca, NY
Technical Sales Representative - Western Region. Duties are to develop new utilization options for the ash (primarily coal-fired) generated at the cogeneration plants located in central California; as well as oversight of current customers and the relationship with the local plants and personnel.

June 1991-June 2001     Combustion Products Management, Inc. Ithaca, NY
Manager – Coal Combustion Products Business Development: Began as Southeast Regional Director of Wallace Industries marketing coal ash disposal services and working with appropriate regulatory officials, which led to current position in Combustion Products Management, a spin-off company from Wallace. I helped develop complete combustion by-product management services from disposal to utilization including transportation and on-site personnel while working with appropriate regulatory officials.

July 1985–June 1991    Stalwart Coal, Inc.    Bridgeport, WV
President & Owner: Formed Stalwart Coal as a 50% Owner and President. Stalwart Coal brokered coal, and shipped truck, barge and rail contracts. Assumed 100% ownership in January 1988. Stalwart also performed consultation services related to the coal industry including mining problems both underground and surface, and chemical background on analytical data.

June 1984–June 1985    BRJ, Inc.    Bridgeport, WV
General Manager: Was hired and also became a minority owner of BRJ, Inc. As General Manager my duties included overseeing everyday operations of the office while in charge of purchasing coals from local producers to supply contract shipments.

March 1978– May 1984 Harbova Mining, Inc.    Kingwood, WV
Vice President – Operations: Began a short stint working general labor at an underground mine and was promoted as a river coordinator/sampler for a ten-year coal contract. This entailed ensuring that all coals were analyzed at various river docks, and blended to meet specifications. This led to my promotion to Vice President-Operations. I coordinated all contracts and orders; from the purchasing of all coals to their transportation to the river docks or rail facilities; and overseeing that they were blended, analyzed and shipped at the correct tonnage and guaranteed specifications.

Lineman: Duties included light mechanical work. In off duty time worked as a ferry pilot delivering aircraft to auctions.
