WORK EXPERIENCE:

Project Procurement for the plants located at multiple regions, interact with global vendors for best quality materials, enhanced technology and manage cost escalations, liaison with offshore personnel & the project lead for the on time performances, Vendor evaluation, pre-qualifications, etc, material inspection, logistics management of materials to the project site, stocking & warehousing, inventory control, Manage project contracts and the terms, manage ERP systems and MIS.

Having a proven successful track record of Stores Management on large International Stores Set-up up to a stock value of approximately $10,000,000. The ability to work with Stores software and knowledge and experience of working with Stores Computer Systems as well as Standard Microsoft Applications.

Ability to work on a dedicated Computer Stores Systems in addition to running a back-up paper Stores Control System using with Bin Cards and Check Sheets, track Indents and Orders to receipt into the Stores and Issues either by Plant Type or Spares Category. In addition rotating physical Stock Checks are required to be carried out and monitoring of Stock Movements for fast and slow moving stock. Be able to produce data from Stores Software Showing high stock values, maximum and minimum stock levels of Spares required linked to lead-in times and usage patterns to enable timely delivery of Stock both sourced from Off-Shore and On-Shore Suppliers to maximize the efficiency of the Stores with the aim of maintaining minimum stock levels whilst ensuring that stocks are retained such that the Plant Fleet has sufficient stock for Servicing as well as Scheduled Maintenance.

The ability to manage the National Staff. Ability to lead by example and manage a Staff up to twenty-five National Employees including Senior and Junior Staff. In addition worked in close co-operation with the Commercial Manager and Plant Manager and provide a number of Daily / Weekly / Monthly.

Sending the components to service. Getting the quote. To check the parts in stock and raise the Local Purchase Order. Claiming warranty if eligible. Creating warehouse separately for each component called Components warehouse. Creating the report called 'WIP' (work in progress). Following the jobs at various locations and inform the management. Tracking the jobs at various locations and update on daily meeting. Following all off shores orders at logistics.

* Plan and manage a centralized storeroom and to keep pertinent inventory records and reports.
* Lay out the stores room according to the problems of a department.
* Plan, organize and effectively direct the system of stores control.

DUTIES:

* To receive the material
* To keep materials in the right place and in the manner prescribed
* To issue form stores on proper authorization and to proper persons following the correct procedure and, of course, within least possible time
* To maintain complete, up-to-date and correct records
* To preserve the materials for maintaining their original value and quality,
* To replenish the stock
* To advise the management on day-to-day affairs of the stores department,
* Particularly regarding absolute, unserviceable and slow-moving items.

RESPONSIBILITES:

* We receive the items on proper authorization and should satisfy regarding the quality and quantity, value, etc., of the materials and check them with reference to the specifications given in the order form.
* We are responsible in getting the item inspected by experts or the indenter and obtain the necessary certificate.
* To stress on the vendor to issue the warranty certificate where all applicable
* Responsible to keep the items at right place in the prescribed manner according to their nature, code, and classifications.
* Issue of materials with greater responsibility taking care of the part code and nomenclature without any loss of time, making sure that the materials received first in the stores are issued first and of course on proper authorization or kit list.
* Responsible for every theft, pilferage, damage and spoilage in the store
* Responsible for proper recording, preservations and following of rules and regulations strictly and honestly.
* Responsible to keep co-ordinations with all the departments in the interest of smooth functioning of the organizations,
* Coordinating with purchase in indenting the materials and suggesting the possible names of the supplier with respective to their efficiency and also the time by which the items are required.
* Managing and supervising stores areas and ensuring cost effective and safe operations of these areas.
* Managing and supervising stores room and tool room activities and operations. Organizing safe storing, packaging, issuing and receiving of materials, tools and equipments.
* Responsible for ensuring that all tools to be issued or tools in stores are in good operation condition.
* Responsible for ensuring that all related documentations, i.e., issued and received are followed, monitored, maintained and updated.
* Responsible for ensuring that storage facility and all areas of responsibility are clean, well maintained.
* Responsible for ensuring that storage bins/areas, items that requires labeling/tagging, are done properly; store areas are easily located and identified.
* Responsible for ensuring that items/stocks in storage bins or shelves are in order, not mixed up.
* Responsible for ensuring that materials that requires special storing are adhered to i.e., applying water proofing compounds, oils, greases, weather proof paper and covering materials with plastic or tarpaulins where required; adheres to manufacturing requirement
* Responsible for ensuring that all materials with required minimum levels are monitored and well maintained and follows up with purchasing on timely acquisition to maintain stock level.
* Regular interface with buyer/purchasing regarding ordered items.
* Responsible for the timely reporting/submission of reports.
