Work closely with clients, 401/404 permitting, wetland determination/delineations, stream visual assessments, stream geomorphology assessments, stream and wetland restoration, macrobenthic identifications and analysis, preparation of environmental assessments in accordance with NEPA and SEPA.
Projects have included: N.C. Wetland Restoration Program
(NCWRP) basin wide assessment project in the Lower Yadkin River and Catawba
River basins, the Piedmont Triad International Airport expansion, and numerous wetland determinations/delineations.

Conducted field surveys for various species of federally listed plants, mussels, and fish, aquatic bioassessment, GPS surveying, electrofishing, vegetative monitoring, macrobenthic identification and analysis scientifically analyzed collected data, constructed habitat assessments and prepared recommendations for future management of protected species, produced written scientific reports using collected field data, created biological assessment reports, assisted in projects in North and South Carolina and Virginia. Managed database including all field data collected by the DOT Natural Systems Unit for the State of North Carolina. March 2002-June 2003.

Participated in ground-breaking research concerning the duplication of Stradivarius violin sound quality through biochemical manipulations of the varnish, used electron microscopy and spectrometer analysis, managed other students and volunteers.
