Professional Experience

I participated in Orbit Sixth Festival for the Arabic Song that took place in Egypt at Cairo International Conference Center during the period from 27/12/2000 till 30/12/2000. It was the Sixth Festival for Orbit to organize, as it successfully has been able to establish the First one in Dubai (UAE), the second in Beirut (Lebanon), the third in Amman (Jordan), the forth in Manama (Bahrain), the fifth in Doha (Qatar) and that year was the sixth one in Cairo (Egypt). This Festival (Gala) consisted of four nights. Every night contained four of the most famous Arab singers. I was one of the "Festival PR Coordinators" that was the only responsible for the reservations and bookings made with the Air Lines (Egypt Air, Gulf Air, Middle East and others Air Lines) through this Gala. My duty included booking and issuing the Air Tickets either to Orbit staff around the world (Lebanon, KSA, UAE, Kuwait, Jordan, Morocco, Emirates, Bahrain and Rome) or to the talents and super stars that participated and attended the festival. It was a very good experience to participate in such a Gala, and to work in a teamwork with a huge number of people either Orbit employees or the very famous Arab singers and other guests. This rule was in addition to my permanent job.

Work Experience

„Y "Executive Secretary/Office Manager", Orbit Art Production and Distribution Company, EMPC, 6th of October City, Egypt, (June 2000- Present).
- Actually, I am assisting the Executive Director in all duties concern our main office that represents Administration & Production in Cairo. Also, I assist the Financial Manger and the Personnel Manager in most of their duties related to the production staff and employees in different depts. In addition to my previous tasks.
- I act as a PR Specialist, as I am the one in charge to contact the Hotels, Travel, Airline and Courier agencies, Internet and Advertising ones and participate in executing the daily work & obtaining the best offers that could enhance our whole business as a Satellite Television Network.
- In the absence of my bosses, I ought to be in charge to manage & handle all the daily work of the office & have the authority to be the decision-maker.
- Responsible for safe keeping and updating of original documents such as agreements, title deeds and other legal documents.
- Manage the daily office and internal business affairs, such as correspondence, administration, communication, follow-up etc¡K of business and private matters.
- Coordinate company internal and external business affairs, including arranging of appointments with VIP clients, business partners, other local dignitaries and company management to ensure the smooth administration of such schedules.
- Provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests & performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls
& scheduling meetings. May also train & supervise lower-level clerical staff.
- Read & answer correspondence, attend meetings & makes minutes.
- Analyze operating practices & procedures to create new or to revise existing methods.
- Study management methods to improve workflow, simplify reporting procedures or implement cost reductions.
- Prepare records & reports, such as recommendations for solutions of administrative problems & annual reports.

„Y "Administrative Assistant", Orbit Art Production and Distribution Company, Maadi, Egypt, (October1998- May 2000).
- Responsible for the presentation of Orbit's main office in Cairo for Administration, Production and Financial departments.
- Follow up with all departments and report to upper management in a timely manner, as I organize meetings and conferences held in or out the office.
- Assist in the development and proper maintenance of the existing filing system.
- Contact and coordinate with Orbit offices abroad.
- Types correspondence for Directors, and provides typing support in Arabic &
English language to all department heads, managers, and staff as required.
- Screen incoming telephone calls to the Directors and other managers, and in the absence of the recipient of the call take messages and action wherever possible.
- Write basic correspondence upon supervisors request.
- Maintain Director's and general office filing, including daily follow-up files.
- Handle travel arrangements on occasions (flight booking, hotel reservation, and airport transfer) & assist office visitors as required (visas).
- Complete follow up necessary to ensure that supervisors requests for information / action are met.
- Complete small projects related to field of word as requested by managers including translations.
- Contact office equipment suppliers when repair or additional maintenance is required.
- Send / distribute outgoing / incoming faxes and mails as require
