COMPONENT SKILL/ STRENGTH:
(a) Waste Management - Dynamics of waste hierarchy & sectors, local authority strategies, EU waste catalogue, strategy (avoidance, minimization, reuse,recycle and safe disposal), policy and regulations, assisting in waste auditing, web based data flow and statistics management, waste education (surveying, campaigns).
(b) Environmental Management - Very good understanding of wide environmental issues. Worked areas are Pollution control, Air-water and soil quality analysis, ISO 14001, new technologies environmental implications.
(c) Safety Management – Have been taking care of all the safety issue within the department. Work include daily safety inspection of whole engine spaces, monitoring and supervising confined space entry, filling up logs, continuous monitoring the confined space atmosphere by using multi gas detector(TMX 412-Industrial Scientific), providing training to the crew members about chemical management and usage of personal protection equipments and safety management system. Documentation, verification recording keeping and proper filing of all Safety related documents.
(d) Chemical Management – Have got more than one and half year experience in chemical management program, including daily chemical inventory, proper labeling and storage of all kinds of chemicals, handling of hazardous chemicals.
