I have extensive experience in the petroleum industry including drilling and production, with a great deal of wellsite supervisory experience and managing second and third party contractors. Strong leadership skills include team motivation, as well as exceptional interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.
Responsibilities included supervising offshore/onshore drilling, completion and workover operations at the rig site, being a pivotal part in leading all activity, HSE, operations and logistics at the well site. Other tasks were management of onshore/offshore drilling contractors and service providers, P&A, and working with the platform manager to ensure control of simultaneous operation issues. Although my work was primarily at the rig site, office time was required in operations planning and "after action reviews."
