i) Physico-chemical analysis of drugs and medicines according to the pharmacopeias (drug formulation and analysis)
ii) Expiry date determination of medicinal products through extended storage and accelerated systems iii) Bio-analysis of medicines and their formulation iv) Preparation and designing of packaging materials v) Analysis of drugs and medicines using instrumentations such as UV spectroscopy & HPLC
vi) Weekly and monthly preparation of analytical reports for references and technical data vii) Statistical methods of data analysis and inferring valuable conclusions out of it
2) 1999:2 months stay in Addis Ababa Tannery Sh.Co. as a Production Chemist; Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Major duties and responsibilities:

4) 2000-2001:1 year and 2 months at the National Alcohol & Liquor Products Factory; Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

5) 2001-2002:6 months stay in East Africa Bottling Sh.Co.; Dire Dawa, Ethiopia i) Physico-chemical analysis of sugar and final beverages such as fanta orange, cocacola and sprite ii) Water quality controller both for boiler and production uses iii) Gas (CO2) analysis that is to be used directly for the beverage iv) Biological analysis of beverages, sugar, and water v) Production chemist and production line controller vi) Sanitation controller for the whole plant
6) 2002-2007: Western Industrial Technologies (WIT), a USA (California, Los Angeles; City of Industry) based company; Addis Ababa, Ethiopia i) Representative of the Western Industrial Technologies ii) Production and new product development on areas of industrial products iii) I did an extensive research on locally available minerals for industrial products development and finally produced the first in its kind and as a whole in Africa (may be except south Africa) versatile refractory bricks which are high temperature resistant bricks that could be used in different areas such as furnaces, tundishes in iron smelting operations, boilers, reactors and in general a high temperature requiring works iii) I made an extensive research and designed a project on manufacturing of synthetic liquid and gaseous fuels and petrochemicals out of wood through gasification and catalytic synthesis of syn gas which is to be implemented in the near future. Especial attention was given for Nickel based catalysis to produce gaseous products and Cobalt based catalysts for liquid products while distillation and reforming are also the major lines put in the overall production. The main reason for such product study was to enhance forestry and to create income for Ethiopian peasant farmers while looking for alternative fuels for poor Ethiopian economy which is mainly an agrarian one. Also bio-diesel production from vegetable oil and alcohol whereby study and experimentation was undertaken through me whose result is a promising one.
iv) Project designing on iron ore mining and conversion to steel whose investment license was granted by the investment authority of Ethiopia as Ethio-American Smelting and refining which is to start soon its operation initially from scrap iron was done by me. The exploration license is being undertaken from the ministry of energy.
v) Project study on production of construction bricks mainly for house building and whose investment was granted by the Ethiopian investment authority as "Mojo Ceramics Pvt.Ltd.Co. Main duties were fire testing and laboratory experimentations on the clay identified through me.
vi) Recently zinc mining study is being under taken which was proposed by me whose mine location was identified through me and its project study is being undertaken.
vii) In general, I was leading the company here in Ethiopia in a whole rounded work including business studies.
