* Provides monthly and quarterly reports on health, safety and environmental performance
* Generates corporate safety and environmental reports.
* Develops safe working procedures and train all personnel on the procedures as well as the use of material safety data sheets.
* Trains all supervisors on Job Safety Analysis and Planned Task Observations.
* Plans and participates in health and safety audits and inspections on monthly basis and sends reports to sectional heads.
* Chairs safety committee meetings on monthly basis.
* Liaises with supervisors to generate safe working procedures
* Prepares and issues monthly and annual safety statistics to Gold Fields on behalf of both Liebherr Mining Ghana and Sandvik.
