I am retired from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (R.C.M.P.), having left in July 2006 with almost 25 years of service. Since then, I have obtained my P.I. licence and conducted investigations for different firms.
In March 2008, I accepted the position of Project Manager with Scarlet Security where I am in charge of Security at an iron ore mine in Northern Canada, specifically at the Mary River Project located on Northern Baffin Island. I started in this capacity on March 16th, 2008 and set up rules, policies, regulations and procedures to ensure the office would run smoothly and efficiently.
I am certified bilingual in English and French.
During my career in the R.C.M.P., I have worked on complex major investigations at the local, national and international levels. I have developed and maintained very strong relationships within the Police community as well as other Government Agencies and financial institutions.
During my career, I have been responsible for the complete financial, training and reporting aspects of Drug, Major Fraud, Proceeds of Crime, Money Laundering and Organized Crime cases.
I am certain my investigation experience coupled with my strong work ethics will make me a valuable member of your team. Furthermore, I have been dealing with the public for over thirty (30) years in different capacities.

Leadership
* Trainer/Supervisor in Proceeds of Crime/Money Laundering Section designed to attack Organized Crime by identifying, seizing and ultimately forfeiting Assets that were obtained with ill-gotten money and also to fight Money Laundering.
* Lead Investigator on several high profile multi-provincial projects on Organized Groups including the Hells Angels.
* In charge of First Proceeds of Crime Satellite office in Canada between January and November 1998. This Unit was created specifically to combat Organized Crime in Southern Ontario. This Unit was comprised of members of the Niagara Regional Police Service and the R.C.M.P. This Satellite office proved very beneficial under my leadership as over $1,300,000.00 in seizures/referrals were accounted for during this time period. I was responsible for creating the Canada's first Proceeds of Crime Sub-Office and was also responsible for all aspects of the officers¡¦ work including their training.
* Investigator into alleged corruption of a Police Department in Northern Ontario over a 2.5 year period; responsible for the day to day activities of an Undercover Operator; interview numerous citizens, Police Officers, ex-Police Officers and professionals in Ontario and Alberta; responsible for final report presented to the Ontario Attorney General.
* Expert Witness for past 18 years at the Ontario Court (Superior and Provincial Divisions) in the Drug and Proceeds of Crime fields.
* Personally conducted hundreds of financial investigations concerning White Collar Crime. As a result, I have been involved in the Seizure/Restraint and Forfeiture of Millions of dollars worth of contraband and assets during my career.
* Seconded to a Provincial Outlaw Biker Section to investigate and infiltrate Outlaw Biker Gangs, particularly Hells Angels members.
* My experience includes surveillance, interviews of Money Launderers, Drug Users and Traffickers and other witnesses.
* Dealt with the banking community in Canada on countless occasions in relation to suspicious currency transactions.
* Participated in investigating thousands of Drug and Conspiracy offences at the local, national and international level.
Strategic Planning
* Established strategic relationships and policies and implemented associated procedures to enhance the capabilities and performance of specialized divisions, with emphasis on risk management, safety and human resources management, security and protocol and budget administration.
* Acted as Role Player of newly-formed Source Development Unit - ¡* Public Safety Anti-Terrorism¡¨ (PSAT) dealing with Informants and Police Agents.
Supervisory
* In charge of Drug Project teams and responsible for the enforcement of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and related Criminal Code offences.
* Supervised, trained and participated in numerous long and short-term Drug investigations involving multi-discipline and multi-national agencies including US-D.E.A. in several States, F.B.I., Niagara County Sheriff Department, United States Customs Service, Metro Toronto Police, Hamilton Regional Police Service, Niagara Regional Police Service, Durham Regional Police Service, Niagara Falls New York Police Department, Canada Customs, Ontario Provincial Police, London Police Service, Nashville Police Department in Tennessee, Sarasota County Sheriff Department in Florida, Hennepin County Sheriff Department in Minnesota, Montreal Police Department, Quebec Provincial Police, Thunder Bay Police Service, some European countries, etc.
* Supervised numerous major Drug investigations; responsible for the co-ordination of projects, attaining wire tap authorizations, managing and assigning wiretap duties, investigative responsibilities, surveillance and Informant/Police Agent handling.
