As a Foreman for M.C.T.A. Excavating I have multiple tasks for each jobsite. Before the start of each jobsite I am responsible for reviewing; contracts, take off estiments, and grading plans. Meeting with General Contractor and getting a schedule together and requirements for specific jobsite. Setting up subcontractors (exp. Erosion control & Concrete cutters). Calling in for locates on existing utilities. Mobilization of equipment, getting the right equipment for job. Setting up Surveyors. Filling out daily reports, JSA (Job Safety Analyses), making sure that operators and labors are wearing there P.P.E. (personal pretention equipment) and that the equipments safety features (back up alarms, horns, safty belts and ect. ) are working. Weekly toolbox safety meetings. Being the first on the job and last to leave.
