A. Environmental Management Action Plan:-

* Monitoring for the compliance of different environmental parameters.
* Monitor the results of corrective measures and investigate alternative solutions, if necessary.
* Act as member secretary of EIC; prepare agenda and report for presentation in EIC meetings; maintain all minutes of the meetings and carry out all the decisions made by the EIC meeting.

* Coordination with Consultant Engineers, local authorities.
* Coordination with concerning agencies for vegetation removal.

* Monitoring of all blasting operation by Blasmate for reducing & maintaining the vibration level within standard as specified in E1-EMAP contract document.
* Monitoring Water Treatment Plant operation and management & Quality control.
* Monitor the natural areas adjacent to construction sites with regard to possible impacts caused by construction works.
* Prepare Environmental Monitoring & Progress Report and submit to the Project Manager for approval.
* Sincerely watch different construction works as a Civil Engineer in the construction period such as diversion works, cofferdam, Intake Structure, dam and spillway weir structure, service building structure, excavation works of tunnel, concrete lining in tunnel, and underground structure of desander basin and excavation of surge tank, concrete grouting works.

In my professional carrier, I had to lead a very difficult and sensitive task which is explained below:

In connection with the disposal by burning of various date expired explosives on November 19,2005 it suddenly exploded with severe thunderbolt type noise due to which several weak structure village houses were severely cracked, the pet animals either died, got sick due to heavy noise. So the affected angry local people in hundreds came to physically assault me. However, I was able to pacify them convincing that they will be adequately compensated. Immediately, the Project Manager, Mr.E.Schmid formed a special technical team to prepare complete valuation & compensation details through field survey for compensating the damaged properties of locals, under which the major work performed by me as a team leader were:-

Preparation of the field report on damage properties. Investigation by taking photographs of each victim. After successfully completing those works compensation were distributed to the affected people to their satisfaction. The affected people gave me the credit of handling this sensitive personal property damage compensation issue successfully.
