Degremont Ltd, India is a subsidiary of French multinational Degremont SA which is part of SUEZ Group – a world leader in water and waste water treatment having its presence in 70 countries world wide.

Presently working as Marketing Engineer for Bangalore region. Reporting to Joint Manager-South

Role & Responsibilities
1 Relationship building with clients with effective delivery and service quality norms
2 Analyze customer/market response for further value additions in technology development and service improvement.
3 Develop and sustain the existing client network for grabbing O & M work order of existing plants with proper estimation and review of market cost.
4 Conduct Market Research and collate results to assist in the market strategy planning process
5 Interaction with other departments in the company, subcontractors and partners for proper estimation of costs for preparation of tenders.
6 Motivate, mentor, guide and monitor front liners and second line executives to achieve goals. Impart training to new recruits and create awareness on technologies, operation and maintenance.

Initially was Plant Manager for Operation and Maintenance of 60 MLD Tertiary treatment plant, V.Valley, Bangalore.

Client: Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB)

The plant was designed and built by Degremont Ltd with Degremont's patented technology of Densadeg and Flopac units. The plant is being operated through SCADA, PLC and fully under automation mode with least manual interface.

Role & Responsibilities
1 Managing a team of 30 people skilled and semiskilled for the O & M of the plant
2 To comply with Degremont's O & M and Safety procedures while working.
3 Assume the full responsibility for ensuring compliance with all the safety regulations responsible for Health & Safety of the entire work force.
4 Monitor, adjust and optimize the operation of the plant.
5 Co-ordinate among the operations and maintenance sections
6 Handle the relations with the client and inspection bodies
7 Implement the recourses required for compliance with the outlet guarantees to the satisfaction of the client.
8 Preparation of the reports and submission of the same to the client.
9 Implementing & guiding '5S' Techniques in the plant.
10 To ensure plant operation cost is within budget
11 Training of the personnel both off-the job and on-the job.
12 Plan, schedule and optimize the chemical dosages for the optimum operation of the plant.
13 Maintain the inventory of the various chemicals, like Ferric Chloride, Chlorine and polyelectrolyte.

Post: Commissioning Engineer

The treatment plant is designed with Degremont's ULTRAFOR membrane bio reactor technology.

Role & Responsibilities
1. Coordinating with Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation team for commissioning work.
2. Installation of Zenon membranes along with Zenon engineers and DSA engineers.
3. Preparation of operation and maintenance manuals with details on membranes life, process, types, cleaning, maintenance etc,

1 Involved in study and execution of pipeline drawings and treatment plant drawings for major projects like Hosakerehalli Minor Valley, Kempambudi Tank Project and Karnataka Composite factory project.
