Medical Projects:

Description of the Project1: [Cryo Balloon Ablation System]. The CBAS-console consists of five major sections Industrial PC, RTSE circuit, Pre-Cool circuit, Vacuum Pump section, Power Distribution section. The Industrial PC provides the GUI during the console operation. The RTSE circuit receives the command from industrial PC and performs controlling and sequencing of all actions that are involved in controlling the flow of N2O to the balloon catheter. The pressure and temperature signals from various points of the N2O flow path are received and processed by the RTSE circuit.
The Pre-cool circuit is used to maintain the cryogenic temperature (-30 deg C) before entering in to the catheter. The vacuum pump is used to maintain a predefined value of vacuum during various states of the Console operation. The console receives the inner/outer balloon pressure and inner balloon temperature through the catheter board electronics. The communication between Console and the catheter board electronics happens through serial interface. The console is powered with universal AC input and all the electronics in the console is powered by medical grade power supply.

Description of the Project2: [Selective Neural Stimulation]. The SNS technology is a neuro-stimulation battery operated device, which transmits a controlled waveform designed to stimulate specific nerves. This SNS waveform is composed of a carrier signal and a pulse envelope. The carrier waveform is designed to be of sufficient frequency to overcome tissue impedances. The pulse envelope contains specific pulse width, amplitude and shape information designed to stimulate specific nerves. SNS can be used to treat a medical disease condition called overactive bladder.
The stimulation device in its final patch form is placed on the skin for a period of up to seven days. The user can adjust the patch waveform parameters through an optical link via a handheld controller. In addition, the controller can be connected to a PC via a hard wired serial link. The hard wired serial link can be used to upload data stored on the controller and allows a wider range of parameter adjustment for patch unit.

Aviation Projects:

Description of the Project 1: It is a requirement based testing. SCOE (Software Common Operating Environment) is an ARINC-653 compliant system to manage all the operations in airborne equipments. SCOE Software is a Level A software that needs to adhere to all the stringent objectives defined in DO178B standards. As per DO-178B Structural coverage is mandatory for Level A software. The objective of this analysis is to show 100% coverage in terms of statement coverage, decision coverage and MCDC. If there is any lack of coverage then justification is provided. In addition to that unit testing is also done. Structural coverage is performed to ensure that there are no dead code and unreachable code. Unit testing is performed to ensure that the written software adheres to the low level requirement.

4. Run the test cases by using RTRT Tool, Simics simulator and On Target

Description of the Project2: Smiths_Scoe-LLR_Gen project for development of Low Level Requirements for the features File System, AFDX and HMEvent Interface modules in the SCOE (Software Common Operating System Environment).

Responsibilities:

1. Requirement Study and analysis.
2. Generation of low level requirements for SCOE.

Industrial Automation Projects:

Description of the Project 1 (Belt scale): Belt conveyors are accepted means of moving bulk materials in mining and process industries. With the advent of this fast mode of transportation, accounting the quantity of material transferred assumes great importance. Belt scales are the most reliable index of material accounting and can be measured directly and precisely, which offer accurate weighing systems to maintain higher accuracy and better accountability in the process. the systems employs a weighing frame with two or four load cells to sense the material load on the belt, a tacho generator to measure the belt speed.

Description of the Project 2 (Ethylene Oxide & Carbon dioxide filling Machine): This project is developed for Pest Control (India) Pvt Ltd, Mumbai, for filling liquefied EO & CO2 in different size of cylinders. It consists of one platform mounted over load cells controlled and monitored by the processor and display unit. Operator can enter the set value and other accuracy limiting parameters through keyboard. Once the operation started the set quantities of EO & CO2 will be filled in the cylinder. System is interfaced with a printer which is placed in a remote location through RS485, so that after each operation, required parameters will be printed out automatically along with current time and date.

Description of the Project 3 (Hopper Weighing System): Description of the Project: The hopper weighing system developed with four set points. The system would always monitor the weight on the hopper, if each set point is achieved corresponding output is activated there by the material flow was controlled The system was designed to be used ADC 7730 which is SPI compatible. The system includes max7219 display driver IC, additional memory, D/A Converter AD420 and the system has an expansion
