* Worked as an Administrative officer in the Town Administration,Tata Iron & Steel Company Limited, Jamshedpur India for 13 years.
* Present Job:
Working as a Camp Administrator in ETA ASCON & STAR Group of Companies in United Arab Emirates, Dubai, since 05/09/2006.
Responsibilities Handled by me as follows:
ƒæ Reporting to General Manager ¡V Administration.
ľ Regular interaction with Executive Director of the Group of Companies, follow-up his instructions, related to workers & staff welfare activities & implementation of various schemes.
ľ Incharge of 8 Camps ( Staff accommodation & Workers Camp)
ľ Monitoring day to day activities of Camps in a regular basis including including welfare & awareness programmes:-
ľ Verify and check compliances of camp on a day to day basis.
ľ Camp Administration
ľ Planning & Implementation
ľ Cost Control
ľ Local Purchase for soft furniture etc. as per company norms
ľ Rooms allotments as per company procedure
ľ Accommodations for new arrivals
ľ Checking rooms every day ( Any body absent or sick) keep record
ľ Any sick person arrange medication/transportation (If required)
ľ Supervision for House keeping (Cleaning of toilets, corridors, surrounding etc.) Keep record for water tanker (If buying from outside) otherwise meter reading on weekly basis.
Disposal of sewage water and maintain proper record if tanker hire-in.
Supervision of Staff/Workers Canteen
Co-ordination with Admin. Dept. for new arrivals/departures
Co-ordination with Admin. Dept. for distribution of company letters etc.
Camp Maintenance
ľ Arranging staff & workers transportation for workplace
ľ Coordinating with Camp boss in a regular basis
ľ Coordinating with accounts department for final settlements in cases of
Termination, resignation, and superannuation.
ľ Arranging airport dropping and pickup for staff and workers.
ľ Informing employee's problems to HR Manager & coordinating in problems.
ľ Close interaction with the Workers & Staff for sort out their work related or any personal problems.
ľ Organizing counseling session for Workers & staff to look in to their safety, health & hygiene & work related problems.
ľ Preparing report for the management about the Camp activities.
ľ Proper maintained of annual contract of Fire System,Water tank cleaning,Pest control.
ľ Organizing awareness programmes on various issues like, Health, Safety at work. HIV/Aids prevention, Water conservation, waste recycling etc.
ľ Provide & organize recreational activities for workers & Staff.
ľ Liasioning with Govt. officials to sort out the issues related to safety, health & accident or even death cases for our Workers & Staff.
ľ Co coordinating with the Labour dept, health dept. Human right agencies to sort out and implement their remarks / suggestions to improve the quality of life of the workers.
ľ Liasioning with HRD dept for need base training for our Staff.
ľ Coordinating with HR & Personnel-Deptt to sort out day-to-day problems related to Salary,, medical expences,accidents insurance related issues for the Workers & Staff.
ľ Organizing officials get-together, others Event / programmes as & when required.
ľ Implementing suggestion Box schemes, its effective usage & getting suggestions from the workers & Staff to improve system & procedure.
ľ Visit Workers/Staff Camp regularly & meeting with the workers.
ľ Taking care of the health related problems of the Workers & consulting to the concerned Doctors.
ľ Arranging In-house induction for the Workers & Staff for basic information about the Company & U.A.E. Laws.
ľ Guiding helping the new joiners in respect of rules & regulation of the Company
ľ Incase of an accident doing the enquiry and submitting the report to management.
ľ Coordinating the Annual Sports Event organized by the Company.
ľ Collecting important data related to Workers & Staff status from the HRM & Deptt. HR division, to take necessary corrective steps.
ľ Conducting survey time to time to assess the needs of the Workers & staff.
ľ Based on the data collecting from the survey suggested steps to implement welfare measures to improve quality of life of employees.
ľ To ensure not to violate the Labour laws of U.A.E.
ľ Monitoring the maintenance of the Workers & staff Camp & to ensure proper discipline in the camp.
ľ To educate the Workers & staff in regular basis not to waste water & Electricity in the Workers Camp & about health & hygiene, heat stress etc. to reduce the cost of medical expenses.
ľ Time to time interaction with the Camp Staff for the better management of day to day activities of the Camps.
ľ To execute various schemes & directives in close association with the HR- & Administration as per the Companies policies.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
Post Graduate in History from Ranchi University India.
COMPUTER SKILL:
Diploma in Computer Software familiar with Data Management Ms Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet surfing Etc.
COMMUNICATION SKILL:
I had been selected for international training on behavior change communication and completed the training in Bangkok Thailand in 2003 from ( ADCC) Asia pacific Development communication center.
SHORT TERM TRAINING:
* Completed First Aid Training from DIBM ( Dubai Institute of Business Management)
* Safety at Work place from DIBM.
