Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning
I have practical experience of working in Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning of three units and plants in the following areas.
1. Commissioning of natural gas compression station at Fauji Fertilizer Company Pakistan. Two reciprocating compressors of capacity 110 MMSCFD each driven by heavy duty low speed induction motors.
2. Commissioning of expansion project of Ammonia plant at Engro Chemicals Pakistan Ltd. This includes, commissioning of new condensate stabilization unit, distillation column and associated equipments, modification of refrigeration unit etc.
3. Commissioning of Shams gas & condensate treatment facility (Block 44) operated by Hanover Compression Company in Oman. This facility is handling sour gas of 1500 ppm of H2S and has Production gas & Test separators, Heat Medium System, Amine unit for gas treatment, compression station with four Ariel compressors driven by Wartsila, Cater Pillar and Waukesha engines, Dehydration unit, power house, Plant utilities, Waste gas flaring system and condensate storage area.
4. Commissioning of LPG/NGL plant in Oman operated by Daleel Petroleum Company. I was commissioning supervisor to look after entire operation of the activities. Plant has seven Ariel compressors to boost up pressure from 7 psig to 1000 psiig, Mole sieves system, Refrigeration system, De-ethanizer & De-butanizer towers, LPG & NGL storage tanks, LPG loading skids and complete package of utilities required to run successful plant operations with all safety aspects & production targets.

I worked also at Offshore Wellhead Platforms (High H2S 1000 ppm) in Dubai Petroleum Company. All operational activities like; well testing, checking BS&W in oil samples, chemical injection, water & gas injection system, operation of fire water pumps, gas lift compressors at central facilities unit, separators, gas turbines, rigging, material loading/unloading & housekeeping of assigned areas. The field had 20 wellhead platforms, 7 gases lift compressors & 4 power generators, and water flood unit, which have three water injection pumps.

I worked at all major field posts of Ammonia Synthesis Plant during the period mentioned above. This experience covers all types of field operation at almost all types of equipments and machines. I worked in Pre-commissioning & commissioning of natural gas compressors also. The main area of my experience was compressors section where I worked for the period of five years. During this period I handled several types of emergencies and gained a lot of experience of troubleshooting of problems. My responsibility was to look after field operation to adjust the plant parameters in safe operating conditions.

Wellhead Stations
Ten wellheads around facility producing light crude oil and gas deliver to the facility at 350 psig and 100 MMSCFD gas flow plus 5000 barrels of condensate. All wellhead stations are equipped with Allen Bradley control system and all kinds of necessary safety equipments.
Natural Gas Station
This section contains; Test Separator, Production Separator, Chemical Injection Skid, Knock-out Vessels, Auto Control Valves, ESD Valves, Gas Distribution Station, Pneumatic Control Station, Pig launcher & Pig Receiver etc.
Acid Gas Removal Section
All type of Heat Exchangers, Fin Fan Coolers, L. P. Steam Boiler, Pre-Heaters, MDEA Solution Pumps, Solid Filter, Charcoal Filter, Distillation Column, Stripper & Absorber Columns, Variety of Chemicals, pumps etc.
Power generation & Compression Section
All types of Heavy Duty Turbines, Gas Engines and Compressors for;
1- Instrument & Utility Air System
2- Process gas Ariel, White Superior and Pignone Compressors
3- P.D. Compressor to compress natural gas coming from gas field.
Oil supply system for turbines & compressor, almost all types of pumps, electric motors, oil consoles, small steam turbine etc.
De-hydration / Refrigeration System
Mol-Sieve dehydration system, MyCom refrigeration Compressors, Propane Refrigerant Storage Vessel, Chiller, Glycol System, Three Phase Separator, Scrubbers.
Condensate Stabilizer & Storage Section
Condensate Stripper Column, Pre-heaters, Re-boilers, Chillers, Transfer Submersible Pumps, Fin Fan Coolers, Screw & Piston Compressors, High volume Storage Tanks. Also, I have good experience on safety aspects of inflammable gases storage areas.
Fire Water System
Good working experience on Heavy duty fire water pumps, Fire water storage tank, Fire Hydrants & Fire Monitors, Foam Trolley, Fire Alarms, Diesel Engine Pump. I'm well familiar to Deluge fire water system on storage tanks & highly inflammable areas.
