TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
- Qatar Petroleum : Worked in 3 consecutive Projects (1997-2004) for Qatar Petroleum in offshore (PS-1, PS-2, PS-3, PS-4 & Halul) and onshore (NGL, QP Refinery, Raslaffan and Dukhan fields) facilities as an Inspection Engineer for Integrated Inspection of Lifting Equipment and Gas Cylinder, Audit and Certification Contract.
- Qatar Petroleum & Occidental Petroleum Qatar (1999-2000): Worked in Risk Based Inspection Studies for all QP offshore locations and Occidental offshore platform including 9-slot Wellhead Jackets in association with Bureau Veritas Technical Centre, France and Abudhabi. Collection and input of equipment data from equipment design data sheets, Drawings and P&ID to RBI Software package developed by Bureau Veritas, France. Updating of routine NDT inspection reports and values to assess the criticality and integrity of hazardous equipment.
- Qatar Petrochemical Company: Worked in QAPCO’s Mesaieed operational plants as an Inspection Engineer for Inspection & Certification of all Lifting Equipment. Inspection of critical equipment such as Dockside Gantry Cranes and Container handling Cranes.
- Qatar Fertilizer Company: Worked in QAFCO’s Mesaieed operational plants as an Inspection Engineer for Inspection & Certification of all lifting equipment in Ammonia and Urea plants.
- Qatar Chemical Company: Worked in Q-CHEM’s Mesaieed operational plants as an Inspection Engineer for Inspection & Certification of all lifting equipment in Ethylene, Sulphur and Hexene plants. Responsible for Inspection, Testing and Certification of Dockside Gantry Cranes. Review of Quality Control procedures related to Lifting equipment Inspection. Preparation of complete dossier for Project and Inspection checklists for equipment.
- Welder Qualification and Welding Procedure Qualification for several major project in Qatar. Review of NDT procedures, reports, radiographic films.
- Compilation of dossier on Asset Integrity studies for Qatar Petroleum offshore platforms and Occidental facilities.
