Project description: Company dedicated to the water supply and sanitation sector, in particular to groundwater investigations, land and water resource surveys, dam site investigations, investigation of shallow aquifers, etc.

Duties: Project Manager and leader hydrogeologist responsible for directing all the groundwater input of the company's participation in ground water resource and supply projects in rural and semi-urban areas. Planning and supervising the geo-physical surveys, the investigation crews and the remediation processes, analysing the lithological data and interpreting of hydrogeological / geophysical field data, preparing of hydrogeological maps, groundwater assessments, water table contour maps and reports, bid proposals and work schedules. Assessing the water use and demand, the development and water sustainability in rural areas.
Other specific tasks include borehole design, supervision of drilling, pump installation (hand pumps and submersible pumps) and pumping tests.
Making available equipment and staff for the fieldwork, liaising with clients, with local and state government officials and with sub-contractors, keeping clients informed through progress reports, etc.
