Summary
Having worked in the Oil and Gas industry for over 25 years both onshore and Offshore from Design through the build, pre-commissioning, mechanical completion to first oil and gas. I have been involved in Project Engineering, Project Verification, Engineering support, and HSE contributing to all aspects of these disciplines, from writing and specifying Project Engineering requirements, CTR’s and Integrated Management Systems to implementing the systems for compliance and verification. I have extensive experience in Construction, Material call off, Planning, Onshore / Offshore Interface, Handover and Close out of projects for Fixed Installations and FPSO’s. My present position is that of QHSE Manager – FPSO’s and Deepwater Pipelines.
I have additional experience in critical assessment, risk study and HAZID and HAZOP routines.
I am computer literate working with a variety of databases, including MS Access, Excel, Lotus 123 and other programmes. In addition to this I have experience of statistical quality packages such as Quality Analyst from North West Quality Analysis, risk management packages such as Fig Tree and Sima Pro for life cycle analysis and inventory.

Position: - Senior Project Engineer (Asset Integrity) FPSO & Drilling Group
Responsible for the Risk Based Assessments and management of maintenance of inspection strategies, the implementation and execution of monitoring work scopes with regard to process facilities, risers, structures and sub surface structures. To provide support to the Integrity Team Leader, where required, with respect to planning, budgeting and reporting. To provide technical support to the Asset Engineer, operations and maintenance teams, Asset integrity team, corrosion engineers and the Asset Integrity Team Engineering assistants.
My Primary Duties included:
• Focal point for the Installation Inspection Engineers
• Maintain the Structural Integrity Inspection Strategies
• Prepare and produce mechanical and structural work scopes
• Manage the execution, reporting and closeout of the work scopes
• Control and closeout of engineering support with respect to anomaly assessments
• Consult with the corrosion engineer and the Asset corrosion database with respect to preparing and producing vessel, pipework and structural inspection work packs

• Prepare work packs for annual Riser Survey work scopes, manage, implement and issue summary closeout reports

Position: - Senior QA Engineer- Engineering Support (Design, Build and Commissioning)
As a member of a small client Project Engineering Group, tasked with the expedition of engineering deliverables, the objective of the group was to interface the engineering deliverables, ensuring targets are met for pre commissioning and commissioning priorities, reducing the lead time for the Handover. Ensuring verification and subsea legislative requirements were fully complied with, close out of the Project being successfully achieved, and carry over work was identified, job cards and work packs were put into place.
My achievements within the group have included the authoring of procedures for the Project Handover, Project As Building and the implementation of them. The achieved aims of the procedures have been to ensure that extraneous deliverables were not produced, the As Built phase of the Banff FPSO to the Duty Holder enabling the operational needs for PMR routines.
My responsibilities included: -

Position: - Quality and Environmental Manager
This position was consultancy work, within the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Industry and related to the implementation of Integrated Management Systems, QMS, SMS and EMS.
My responsibilities included: -
• Consultation with engineering businesses to provide Safety Management Systems, Quality Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems for certification to BS EN ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 series
• Audit current Safety, Quality and Environmental systems in line with QMS and EMS design for the client
• Setting up Quality and Environmental Systems databases
• Write and implement Safety Quality and Environmental procedures
• Implement Safety Quality and Environmental training and awareness
• Design and implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) procedures

Position: - Project QA Engineer (Engineering and Maintenance support)
The contract was an MMSC contract with Shell in the Northern Fields. The offshore position called for allocation and formulation of job cards and activities, offshore construction, maintenance inspection and certification for 3 platforms, the North Cormorant, the Tern and the Eider
