Follow-up on reservoir/well/project performance and coordinates between different project activities. Prepares detailed/integrated development plans for underdeveloped hydrocarbon resources.

WORK HISTORY:

Subsurface Technical Management Experience:
* Filling in as interim Technical Asset Manager, evaluated development projects and acquisitions for economic justification for capital investments and advised on negotiating aspects with cash flow analysis and economic indicators (Net Cash Flow, Payout, profitability Index, Net Present Value, Rate of Return, and Discounted Profitability Index). Used these indicators for project screening and ranking, mutually exclusive alternatives, risk vs. return, projects that increase earning, lease vs. purchase, and projects cost (capital and operating). In addition applied sensitivity analysis to projects using both testing the assumptions and break- even approach in determining desirability of capital investment.
* Balances day-to-day operational priorities with longer-term strategic objectives as well as manages team.
* Executes subsurface area performance issues as follows: aquifer management, evergreen surveillance strategy, and regional Oil and Steam Forecasts.

Experience and responsibilities in Enhanced Oil Recovery surveillance and management:
* Develops depletion strategy guidelines as follows: identify preliminary withdrawal opportunities, recommend producer-reconditioning programs, identify short and long -term capital requirements, and update annual business plan.
* Develop surveillance strategy guidelines as follows: operate and maintain "Production database", update surveillance maps (GIS), and recommend water flood and steam flood surveillance practices.
* Operating guideline as follows: recommend steam soak practices/philosophy, recommend casing gas-venting practices, recommend producers well optimization practices and recommend aquifer-lift well operating practices.
* Reservoir characterization: determine OOIP/COIP, estimate reserves, structure and net pay maps are created, determine fluid contacts, reservoir properties are define, performed reservoir simulation studies, 3-D geological map is performed, well logs are digitized, aquifer influx is characterize, and determine thermal maturity.
* Horizontal Well candidate is pick from probability table, x-sections and sand targets, summary of process findings and any land issues.
* Establish criteria for prioritizing pattern review as follows: pattern outside OSR outside acceptable range, declining pattern Gross/Net Production rate, High Produced Steam to Oil Ratio, Injection to Withdrawal ration outside acceptable range, last analysis date, injector outside of flux policy or outside target rate and limited entry tolerance range.
* Perform pattern analysis as follows: review Geologic/Volumetric description, review injection/depletion strategy (steam target change opportunity and withdrawal change opportunity), drainage improvement, and document conclusions and recommendations.
* Implementations as follows: implement existing well improvements, new well drainage, and post-analysis of recommendations.
* Carryout area performance issues as follows: aquifer management, evergreen surveillance strategy, and regional Oil and Steam Forecasts.
* Participates on Horizontal Well Team to for casing pressure study, ID target areas, horizontal wells design and horizontal well implementations.

* Participates in full field reservoir simulation studies (history marching) and perform reservoir engineering functions including decline curve analysis, volumetric, steam injection and waterflood studies, nodal analysis, and pressure transient analysis.
