Start-up and shutdown of GMS for maintenance or when required. Coordinate with maint. people during repairs or prev. maint. of equipments. Start-up and shutdown of LNG boil-off compressor. Cool down of cryogenic circulation pump.
2.) Responsible for safe and efficient operation of Refrigerant Make-Up Unit demethanizer, deethanizer,depropanizer, debutanizer columns, reflux vessels, pumps, exchangers, propane vaporizer, ethane re-cooler, ethane vaporizer, interceptor pit & flare/liquid disposal system. This unit provides C1, C2 & C3 make-up for refrigerant losses in the process trains and supplying C5+ to Condensate Stabilizing Plant. Ensure all rotating equipment have proper lubrication and coolant. Start-up or shutdown of the Units. Isolation and handling over of rotating equipments, control valves, vessels etc. for maint. 2.) Instrument Air - 2 Mitsui centrifugal electrically driven air compressors (3,890 SCMPH at 7.5 bar g, 2 Broomwade 2- stage reciprocating compressors at 8 bar g.
3.) Nitrogen System - 2 pressure swing type adsorption units with 100 and 800 SCMPH capacities.
4.) Desalination Plant - 8 evaporators using 2-vacuum effect distillation with steam thermocompressor at 125 CMPD of distilled water. Two sets of neutralite beds and chemical dosing pumps for potable water production. 2 boilers 5,000 kg/hr at 12 bars.
OFFSITES/STORAGE: 4 Fire water pumps (2 electric & 2 diesel) with a capacity of 1,000 CMPH at 16.5 barg. 8 cooling water pumps at 5,266 CMPH at 6 bar g. Chlorination system. One propane and one butane blower for boil-off vapor recovery from LPG tanks (60,000 m3 each), 4 pentane tanks (37,000/76,000 m3 capacity), 3 C5+ electrically driven pumps (2,138 CMPH at 16 bar g), 4 loading pumps & 1 circulation pump (1,000/250 m3/hr each LPG tank.
JETTY: Coordinate between ship and main control room for safe and effective cargo loading of C3, C4, C5+ and bunker fuel through the 7 hydraulically operated loading arms.
PROCESS SECTION: DIPA (di-isopropanol amine) regeneration, fuel gas & C3 DIPA treatment, C3 & C4 molecular sieves driers, fractionation columns, fuel gas fired heaters, C3 refrigerant compressor, chillers and boil-off recovery system.
UTILITIES PANEL: Monitoring and controlling normal operating parameters on storage tanks, rundown, loading, cooling water system, C3 & C4 blowers, power generation and desalination plant.
BUHASA NGL EXTRACTION PLANT
A. GAS COMPRESSION - low pressure and intermediate pressure gas compressor driven by one Avon gas turbine, high pressure (Dresser Clark) compressor driven by one Avon gas turbine, C3 refrigerant compressor (De Laval) driven by 2 gas turbines and auxiliaries i.e. lube/hydraulic oil, cooling air, P.T./compressor lube/seal oil etc.
B. NGL EXTRACTION SECTION - Methanol injection system, TEG circulation including stripper, reboiler, regeneration heater. Gas and liquid mol sieve driers, chillers, C3 refrigerant unloading/transfer and fuel gas system. Turbo expander and it's auxiliaries.
C. UTILITY SECTION - 2 main electrically driven air compressors (Elliot PAP) 4,565 CMPH at 8 bars. One diesel driven 1,200 CMPH on standby, 2 fire water pumps (electric/diesel) 1,000 CMPH each at 16 bars. One electric driven jockey pump 11 CMPH and 3 water storage tanks. Combustion type (Nitrogen gas generator) electrically driven 1,000 CMPH at 6.6 bars.
D. Power Generation - consists of 4 main A.C. generators GEC salient pole machine, 11 KV 3 phase 50 hz. 1,500 RPM, power factor = 0.85 which can generate up to 8.3 MW at 46 deg C driven by Rolls Royce avon gas turbines. 2 GEVEKE emergency generators (diesel driven) 440V and 2 Ruston emergency diesel generators at 3,300 V, 455 Amps.
