After getting his degree he participated to different research project carried out by the NMR group of the Cagliari University increasing his experiences in the analytical field using different instrumental techniques (GC-FID, GC-MS, ASE etc..). During this period the collaboration with CRS4 staff provides him the experiences in using chemometric analysis tools and different type of simulation packages
In 1996 he started his collaboration with the Battelle memorial institute foundation and from that year he has been collaborating with them (up till now) on different type of projects, always related to environemtal problems, varying from the development of specific instrumentation for monitoring pollutant in environmental matrix to the development of remediation programs for contaminated areas.
In particular in the period 1996-1999 he worked as researcher for the development of air monitoring instrumentation and after that he continue the collaboration with battelle developing air quality plan proposal for Milan, Cagliari, Naple in Italy and remediation plan for different other site in Italy regarding the soil and water compartment.
In the last 5 years he increased his experience and expertise in GC-MS and GC-FID techniques used in the enviromental forensic field for the fingerprinting of the Petroleum Hydrocarbon Spill with Battelle. He worked as Senior Chemist in the UNCC project in Saudi Arabia related to the damage claim for the 1991 Iraqi Aggression and actually he is the Lab Operation Director in Central Enviromental Laboratory in Kuwait managing the analytical activities related to the Kuwait claim for the environmental and health damage due to the 1991 Iraqi Aggression.
