The field development consisted of 14 No 10" Rigid Flowlines, 1 No 20" Pipeline, 2 No 26" Pipelines and 5 No 4" Pipelines. The flowlines and pipelines lengths ranged from 2 km to 114km. The Simian Gas Field lies 114 kilometers offshore in depths of water nearing 1000 metres.
