Advised Forth field asset team in mapping and modelling initiatives and methodologies. A technical case was made for a 3D seismic survey to define the eastern and southern extents of the field. Completed major depth conversion and mapping project of discovery in block 16/13a. This was part of a larger portfolio and investment analysis project to assess fields and prospects in the region.
Trained and developed the Production Geology and Geophysics Group in the use of their geophysical database and associated geophysical applications.

Geophysical Interpretation Services Specialist 1988-1989
Generated seismic time and depth maps for prospect generation for overseas operations in Italy, Columbia, Ecuador and Gabon. Planned, installed, configured and loaded exploration data to a MicroVAX cluster. This involved data migration, QC, merging and consolidation of information stored in disparate databases and repositories. Evaluated, tested and proposed business cases for the purchase and culling of third party vendor applications used by Geophysics. Coordinated a team of 10 contract TA's in seismic data consolidation and integration project (BP & Britoil).

Geologist, Field Development 1986-1988
Contributed to Forties asset team in geological interpretation, well correlations, sequence stratigraphy, structural mapping and volumetrics. Proposed and planned infill well locations as part of a major work-over and drilling program. Approvals and subsequent investment in this infill program resulted in an additional 180M bbls of OIP. Co-authored appraisal interpretation (including a shallow gas seismic study) of the Cyrus field. Commercial reserves were verified and used for the first FPSO production in the North Sea.

Operations Geologist, SE Forties Asset Team 1984-1986
Supervised all well site geological operations of a 15 well program including wireline contractors, coring, log analysis and mud-logging crews. Onshore - interpreted logs, litho-stratigraphic mapping, well completion reports, composite logs and field mapping. Supervised work-over programmes as part of Forties field development and discovered the first commercial oil in the Eocene, Central North Sea. Reserves estimated at 40MM bbls.
