EXPERIENCE
November 1998 - Present at Reliance Industries Limited [REFINERY COMPLEX]
Job Profile: Normal plant operation with SOC, handing over of equipments, Reciprocating & Cetrifugal compressors & Pumps, Blowers fan, fin fan coolers etc as per SOP, monitoring of all equipments, which includes the Reactors, column, chemical injection package, tanks & various field test like H2S dragger test in hydrogen plant feed gas. Emergency plant handling, which includes plant start-up & shutdown. Schedule changeover of rotating equipments as per SOP, lightening up of Top fired reformer Furnace [Selas Fluid Processing Corp. USA make] & Fired heater burner by using BMS & check-up of burner flame pattern, Checking steam reformer furnace tubes skin temperatures as per given schedule regularly, taking schedule plant sampling in open & close sampling system for routine analysis & trouble shooting, Oil top up in rotating equipments, taking plant round regularly for any abnormalities & normal reliable plant operation, filling of field logbook & log sheets for record & troubleshooting. Apart from these, routine LEL checks on process piping & vessels for any leak of toxic gas, hydrocarbon or flammable gas. Flushing of ISBL firewater system, checking of fire fighting equipments for its healthiness & readiness for emergencies. Temperature Survey of exchanger, DP measurement of process vessels, reformer spring hanger condition checking, Checking of steam leaks in HP, MP, & LP steam generation system also checks on plant housekeeping.

As a Asst. Panel Operator, with experience in the area of Precommissioning, commissioning, normal start-up & shutdown with, BECHTEL & LINDE Eng. Teams at largest grass root refinery for, its
1. Hydrogen plants [Linde] [Cap: 2 x 181MT/ D] WITH HP steam generation,
2. PSA unit for hydrogen purification [2 Nos.]

4. Hydrogen gas compression unit [Consisting of 3 Nos. of Thomassen make reciprocating compressors]
During precommissioning & commissioning stage of Reliance refinery, I was involved in checking of correct process piping, speed instrumentation, direction of rotation for Elect. Motors, horsepower checks for safety of unit & good reliability. Cleaning & inspection of vessels & its connected safety equipments/devices, reformer furnace. Checking trial run of compressors & pumps. Utilities lines commissioning to ISBL. Catalyst loading [Como, NiMo, ZnO, Fe2o3, Reformer Catalyst, PSA catalyst etc], Plant leak ckecktest & inertisation, Refractory dry out, catalyst reduction, feed cut-in process & final product rooting.
