Extensive experience as a Project Manager / Facilities Engineer in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin with a focus on facilities design & construction, oil and gas regulations and environmental concerns. Responsible for capital project for many oil and gas properties throughout NE British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Considerable exposure to computer applications including project scheduling, HYSYS, gathering system modeling, economic forecasting and all Microsoft office software. Responsible on all projects for detailed design, material specifications & requirements, P&ID 's and coordination of construction.

Responsibilities: Projects, from concept to startup.
Highlights: Wapiti-Elmworth Sour Gas Dehydration Facility – 20.0 $M
* Completed on time and under budget.
* 60 MMSCF/d licensed capacity, 30% H2S design, mole sieve drying, 6600 HP compression, vapour recovery system, slug catcher, liquids re-injection.
* Tied in 20 associated wellsites and gathering lines for 19 $M
* Miscellaneous projects – 23 $M
* Included a sour Dehy (BC), North Coleman Plant Mod's, Booster Stations, waterflood Expansion (BC); Sour 20 MMSCF/d well in the Yukon.

Responsibilities: * Projects - from concept to startup. This includes AFE preparation, detailed inhouse P&ID and piping design, purchasing, contracting, scheduling and startup. Also mentored field engineers and managed engineering consultants.
* Evaluate operating costs for the company and recommend cost reduction measures.
* Negotiating processing fees, provide process fee calculations and prepare CO&O's.

* Red Creek, BC - Installed a 6000 BBL/d 4% sour Battery Facility complete with 2200 HP of Compression, Dehydration, storage, VRU and Separation. Value = 7.5 M$.
* Red Creek, BC - Installed a 25 km gathering system and well electrification to 13 wells to the above facility. Value = 3.2 M$.
* Provided strategic planning, AFE reviews, and technical input for the West Stoddart, Cache Creek and Red Creek areas. 1998 expenditures for these areas was 16.5 M$.

* New well tie-ins - from concept to AFE preparation through to startup. In order to maximize cash flow, I ensured that facilities follow as close to drilling and completion as possible.
* Cost control & monitoring, project scheduling
* Managed 2 consultants in-house (pipelines) and employed, on average, 5 personnel in an Engineering Consultants office.

Highlights:
* Pelican - Installed a 1500 Hp compression and Dehydration facility south of Wabasca, winter work only, included SCADA system. Value = 2.5 M$.
* Amisk - Expanded a sour (3%) Battery from 2000 to 4000 m3/d of water injection, installed a new Free water Knockout and Oil Storage Tank Farm (3500 BBL). Value = 950 $k
* Neutral Hills - Built a grassroots Battery for 200 M3/d oil, 800 m3/d water injection, as compression and sweetening. Value=1.6 M$
* Tsea, BC - Installed a 400 HP compressor and revamped a 15 year-old sour Dehy station at a 'winter only' access area. Designed for 5 MMSCF/d and has a camp for the operator. Value = 975 k$
* Progress - Installed a central Battery, Sol'n gas compressor, water injection system (4 injectors, 1 source) and 12 producers. Value = 2.41 M$.

Responsibilities:
* Worked in a multi-disciplinary team in a facilities role.
* Evaluated facilities in the area and recommended investments.
* Developing and implementing strategies for the Nisku production in the West Pembina area, Budgeting, Cost Control.
* Working with Exploration on new ventures
* Long term marketing strategies for Gas, Oil & NGL's.
* Pursuing opportunities for custom processing.

* Successfully negotiated an agreement for 8 MMSCF/d contributing over 1.3M$/yr in revenue.
* Corrected operating problems in a 12,000 HP gas injection station. This significantly reduced operating and maintenance expenses.
* Through process studies, determined that the plant capacity could be increased by 11 MMSCF/d for only 250 k$.
* Recommended Battery consolidation to save 270 k$/yr.

Project Engineer, Calgary, Alberta 1987 – 1990

Responsibilities:
* Project Management from AFE to Startup.
Highlights:
* Lost Horse Hills, Sask. - Installed a water injection station to dispose of 2000 m3/d for 950 k$.
* Alida 8-5, Sask. - Installed an automated Battery to handle 350 m3/d oil and 650 m3/d water for 1.7 k$.

* Deep Cut Recompressor - Project Engineer responsible for the installation of 5000 HP turbine driven centrifugal compressor. Project value = 4.2 $M

Resident Plant Engineer, Buck Lake, Alberta 1980 - 1982
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for all plant reporting, optimizing plant and field production and coordinating well testing for a 100 MMSCF/d sales gas, 40 tonnes/d sulphur, sour facility.
Highlights:
* Supervised the civil, mechanical and electrical installation of a 4000 HP reciprocating integral compressor. Designed and constructed a new surface water runoff pond.
