Superintending Engineer Civil and ESMU ( Environmental Social Management Unit ) Preparation of Environmental Policy and Social Policy for Transmission Lines & Sub Stations and Implementation for the Schemes approved by the World Bank covered in Andhra Pradesh State, India. The same were approved by the (Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Ltd, Hyderabad, India) and Government of Andhra Pradesh for implementation. The AP Transco has taken a loan of 150 million US$ from World Bank and constructed 26 No of sub stations(132/220Kv) and connecting in & out Lines for strengthening the Grid of Andhra Pradesh state by implementing above policies and also incurred 2.25 million US$ towards compensation of land, crop, rehabilitation & resettlement for 10000 No s (app) affected people. I have also introduced to grow 100 plants (one year old) in every new sub station (132/220) funded by World Bank and Other funds so as to give importance as a development of Environmental side. I have strongly opposed to spray chemicals to clear the light jungle in the open lands of Sub stations and succeeded to clear the same by manually/machines to protect the original fertility of soil. I have also strongly recommended to grow the "JATROFAH"(Bio Diesel plant) in the open lands of Sub Stations which is very essential at present age and an alternate to the H.S.D.Oil being used by the automobiles & Industries and reserve the mineral product for future generations and reduction of automobile pollution for the present generation where the density of vehicles are more.
