Reservoir Engineer
Design and execution of pressure transient test for offshore gas wells. Reservoir characterization by reservoir performance and petrophysical data. Reserves estimation through material balance and decline type curve analysis. Reservoir simulation using black-oil and compositional models.
Drilling Design and Planning Engineer
As member of multidisciplinary teams elaborated delineation and development plans for oil fields. Selection of location and trajectory of wells meeting reservoir purposes and the best conditions for drilling. Well planning/design by drilling engineering software (casing design—StressCheck, well trajectory —Compass, cementing, hydraulic, and torque and drag—Well Plan, pore and fracture pressure prediction—Predict, BHA analysis—Sysdrill, drilling data—Dims ) for wells over 20,000 ft of depth and HP/HT conditions.
Drilling Operation Engineer
Supervision of drilling operations in eastern Venezuela. The duties include daily supervision, material procurement process, bidding process, and contractor negotiation. Preparation and control of drilling budget, elaboration of analysis of budget deviations and drilling performance.
SKILLS

• Numeric methods and programming in Visual C, Fortran, Pascal, and Visual Basic for engineering applications. Experience working with SAP in two different roles: investment project leader and service requester.
