1.0 Hydrology Project phase –II ( World Bank aided) On Going
* Preparation and compilation of cost estimate, Procurement plan, Project Implementation Plan (PIP) for vertical and horizontal extension of HP-I along with consultation with world bank (working paper, aid memoir, bank proposal etc) and experts of states for finalization of Hydrological Design Aids, Decision Support Systems, Purpose Driven Studies.
* Consolidation of Hydrology Project - 1
2.0 Hydrology project (world banked aided) 5 years
* Preparation and compilation of Masters (Aquifer, Geology, Chemical, Land use/ Land cover, Watershed, Soil, Command – non command, Topography etc.
* Contributed in developing the GEMS (Ground water estimation systems), GWDES (ground water data entry software) and WISDOM (web GIS software). The platform used Map Info professional and back end – Oracle and developing tool is Map basic.
* Pilot testing of the software, related issues like data conversion from GWDES (Ms Access) and GEMS,
* Network protocol, networking of 19 sites from National Data Centre for transfer of the data. Dedicated ISDN line is used for the purpose. The GEMS has been developed to transfer the customized data or required data to NDC or regional data center.
* Developed topo maps which are layers to the GEMS like contour, spot heights, roads, rail, admin boundaries, drainage on the 1:250000 scale for eight states of India. Also developed tool in AML to order the drainage pattern from 1st order to 4th order and delineation of watershed boundaries. Performed Spatial Analysis, Data Management & interfacing GIS with relational databases. The platform used is ESRI products (Arc GIS 8.3, Arc view, Arc tools, Arc Catalogue), Map info, Bentely Microtation J etc. The work is in progress
* Image processing (IRS- LISS-III and Panchromatic) for geocoding, enhancement, classification and expert & advance classification and extraction of features like roads, rail, admin boundaries, drainage, geology, soil, land use, watershed, command area and used for updation of the these layers on 1:250000 scale. The work is in progress. The platform used is ERDAS Imagine, Geomatica.
* WISDOM(Web GIS)is catalogue producing web GIS software and hydrogeological data (time series) and related dataset can be sold with internet security.
* Responsible for Web enable services for the National Data Centre is being developed using Arc IMS.
* Preparation of Meta Data, Specification for Design & implementation of data conversion procedures, required documentation and laisoing with World bank, consultant, State government etc.
* Attending High Level Technical Group (HLTG) and various world GIS seminar.
* Technical assistance to 19 sites in Eight HP states in implementing Hydrology Project and training officers in GIS and Remote Sensing software like GEMS, GWDES, ARC GIS 8.3, Map Info, Vertical mapper, Geomatica etc.

4.0 Remote Sensing studies of NCT delhi for Artificial Recharge – 6 Months
* The IRS LISS – III and Pan image data were merged and used for supervised classification for various spectral signature used for artificial recharge potential sites. The software used is ERDAS and Arc View 3.2a, and Map Info with Vertical mapper. Field checks also conducted.

Published hydrogeological maps, atlases, and other related spatial data using active server. The software used is Manifold Map Server.

Database for ground water abstraction structure registered with Central Ground Water Authority having details of hydrogeological parameters.
