SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:
I have experience in both near mine exploration, geotechnical/engineering, and resource estimation, and in greenfields exploration (new terranes). This experience involves short term consulting work at over 20 mine sites or mineral exploration projects, as well as longer term jobs of up to 1-2 years at selected operations.
I also have extensive experience designing and building software systems to support mineral exploration and geology projects starting from the basic data building blocks (geological data, assay data, geophysical data). This involves experience with a wide variety of computer systems and mining and geological software, including Vulcan, Surpac, MapInfo, ArcView, and DataShed.
OBJECTIVE:
I would like a job in mining (production, engineering, or environment) or in mineral exploration, located in the western US. I would prefer residence at or near any mine sites rather than fly-in fly-out operations.
