• Erection/Commissioning of Olefins Cracker plant (Ethylene, Propylene plant, Utilities- Demin Water, Boilers, Sea water Cooling, Spent Caustic and OSBL facilities) – Punch listing, installation of instruments as per IP’s and standard design specifications.
• Maintenance, Trouble shooting and Calibration of the all-latest field instruments like Enraf tank level gauging, Vega Radar level, Panametrics Ultrasonic level & flow, Elsag Bailey Magnetic flow, Micro-Motion, Trisen Governor Controller etc.
• Maintenance, Trouble shooting and programming (modification as per process) of Triconex shutdown PLC, Modicon PLC, Siemens 135U PLC and Bently Nevada Vibration system 3500 etc
• Planning, Scheduling and Execution of modification jobs as per design change request for reliability and plant optimization.
• Planning and maintaining the critical and running spares inventory, cost estimation and procurement.
• Planning, scheduling the routine preventive/shutdown jobs.

Working since August 1999 with Al-Jubail Petrochemical Company (Kemya), Al-Jubail, Saudi Arabia through DAR Al-Riyadh Engineering Consultants.

Company Background: Al-Jubail Petrochemical Company also called KEMYA, is a joint venture between SABIC and Exxon-Mobil. It has an LLDPE, LDPE Plant and Olefins - Ethylene cracker is commissioned on 22nd November 2000.
ETHYLENE PLANT (C2/C3 GAS CRACKER of ABB-LUMMUS technology)

• Worked along with Project Management Team (PMT) from Exxon-Mobil and ABB – LUMMUS process licensor, EP Contractor for 700 KTPA Ethylene Plant.
• Worked in cracker project from grass root level and looking after day to day plant maintenance activities after successful commissioning by our olefins manufacturing team.
• Executing modifications required for plant optimization, reliability and efficiency.
• Logic & Function Test on Triconex Shutdown system programs for Boiler- BMS Control, Utilities and offsite area, Modicon PLC for Demin water and Condensate Plant, Boiler Sootblowers, Boil-off Gas Compressors and PSA system. Also carried out online modification and optimization.

• Attended the following training courses at site and at vendor facilities
1. Ten days course on “Triconex TS1131 System ” given by Triconex Co.
2. Ten days course on “Vibration Monitoring System ” given by Bently Nevada Ltd.
3. Four days course on “Modicon PLC Level I” by Schneider Electric,U.K.
4. Two days course on “Enraf Tank Level gauging” by Enraf B.V.

July 1997 to August 1999 at SWIL Limited – Copper Division, Bharuch (India).
Company Background: SWIL is the one of leading giant in copper smelting and refining in
India, having three different complexes. It has Copper Smelter, Refinery and Wire bar plants
at different location in India.
• Worked as Assistant Manager on the Copper Division - Smelter and Refinery Project at Bharuch complex from grass root level.
• Participated in detail engineering of the project and supervised the erection, installation and commissioning of the plant instrumentation and control system.
• Commissioning, integration and maintenance of ABB Advant 410 and Honeywell TDC 3000 DCS system and related communication system.
• One-month abroad trained by the Boliden Contech AB Sweden – Process Licensor on the advanced field instrumentation and control system for the project at Boliden Contech – Ronnskar Plant.

2. Senior Engineer –Instrumentation
May 1996 to July 1997 at Bhagawati Gases Limited, Khetri Nagar (India).
