Description
Presently working on multistory high rise commercial and residential projects in well-reputed contracting company for our own projects, as a client / consultant engineer. The assignment includes model generation, static, dynamic, p-delta and non-linear analyses and steel, concrete design. Determining the structural specifications in terms of weight, cost, and operational behavior considering maximum level of safety throughout its operational life.

For an outhouse projects as a main contractor the assignment includes checking of complete structural design, reinforcement details and coordination with consultant and wide ranging responsibilities of civil structural engineering.

Description
As a part of assignment worked on a research project "Limit load analysis of 500 Mwe PHWR PHT elbows with surface flaws" at Dept of Mechanical Engg. IIT Bombay. The project is sponsored by Board of Research in Nuclear Science on Stress Analysis. The project aims to obtaining limit loads, the stress intensity factor, the j-integral and the crack opening displacements of three major 500 Mwe PHT elbows (SGI, SGO, PD) with part through surface flaws in axial and circumferential direction.

As a part of the job, worked on the modeling of surface cracked elbows with satisfactory meshes. Method of modeling and obtaining Elastic-plastic solution is established using Finite Element Analysis software such as NISA, ADINA, WARP3D, ANSYS.
