Presently working in Company engaged in International projects in engineering (Electrical Transmission & Distribution) as Manager (Projects) from August 2000 onwards and reporting directly to Director and MD.
Job Responsibilities
* Posted in Iraq twice for duration of three (3) months each for looking after operations of company independently and having reasonably good knowledge of Iraq Market and dealing with various Iraqi Ministries.
* To participate in International tenders for various countries for transmission & distribution projects funded by World Bank, Asian bank & UN organization like UNDP, IAPSO etc.
* To source various electrical equipments like Power & distribution transformers, HT & LT Motors, LV & HV Switchgear, Power & control cables, LV & HV Switchboards, Capacitor Banks, Overhead line conductors upto 400 KV, Insulators, Transmission line Towers, Energy Meters, DG Sets, Small hydro Turbines, Distribution boards, Testing & Measuring Instruments, PLCC, Control & Relay Panels, SCADA, LT & HT Busducts etc. from reputed manufacturers all over the world like ABB Germany, ABB Switzerland, Alstom France, Sediver France, Honeywell Singapore, Siemens India etc.
* Looking independently after various tenders funded by UNON, UNOPS & other UN organizations for electrical equipments.
* To submit the tender & participate in active discussions with the customer.
* To negotiate with vendors & fully involved till the execution of the projects.
* Independently looking after Execution of 33 kV substation in Myanmar & 33 kV transmission line towers in Iraq.
* Worked with M/s. LMZ Energy (India) Ltd. as Senior Engineer (Electrical.). March 1998 to July 2000 at New Delhi.
M/s LMZEIL is a Russian multinational company, currently executing orders for medium capacity thermal & hydropower projects. M/s Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod (LMZ) is one of the World's largest Power Equipment's manufacturer of Russia, specializing in Steam, Hydro and Gas turbines.
Job Responsibilities
* Exploring market for power plant equipments throughout India.
* Interaction with various consultants, EPC contractors, Government Bodies and Public sector undertakings for upcoming new power projects.
* Preparation of tenders/offers for Thermal Power plants, sourcing of auxiliary equipment for Thermal Power plant, floating inquiries for various indigenous/local auxiliary equipments of Thermal Power plants, technical evaluation of the offers, selection of final auxiliary equipments based on customers specifications and compilation of complete offer/tender. Having good exposure to the Indian manufacturers and knowledge of supply sources.
* Involved in project management including project planning, estimation and commercial negotiations with clients/vendors for electrical equipments like transformers, LT/HT switchgear, Power & control cables, busduct etc.
* Involved in various tender openings of State Electricity Boards for technical and commercial purposes.
* Preparing single line diagrams and calculating the capacity of various electrical equipments like transformers, circuit breakers, isolators etc.
* Involved in inspection and testing of transformers.

Job responsibilities
* To market micro processor based protective relays for the protection of transformers, generators,f eeders, bus bars etc.
* To achieve the target and also to get approval of relays from various electrical consultants and SEB's and to promote the market of the relays.
* To sell the relays to various panel builders and electrical contractors through the dealer network.
* Involved in commissioning of relays at various sites.
* M/s Ramsons Electrotech Limited New Delhi as Site Engineer July 1994 to February 1996.
