SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE:
As a Plant Operator I am working in FLUID CATALYTIC CRACKING COMPLEX ( FCC Complex) and taking independent charge of PROPYLENE RECOVERY UNIT [Cap: 500000 MT/A] & SHP-TAME PLANT [CAPACITY 345000 MT/A.] from Precommissioning and commissioning with BECHTEL, UOP & LURGI Eng. Teams at largest grass root refinery. In PRU Unit, we recovered polymer grade propylene from unseturated LPG. & In SHP -TAME Unit by hydrogenation process we convert di-olefins to mono-olefins. Besides the hydrogenation of olefins, some isomerization of mono-olefins occurs. The isomerization favours the olefins isomers that are reactive to ether in the downstream Ethermax (TAME) Unit.
MY ROUTINE ACTIVITIES COVERS:
* Normal plant operation with SOC, handing over of equipments, compressors, Blowers fan, fin fan coolers etc. as per SOP, monitoring of all equipments, which includes the Reactors, column, chemical injection package, tanks & various field test like H2S dragger test in PRU & SHP-TAME plant. Emergency plant handling, which includes plant startup & shutdown. I have enough knowledge of work permit system.
* Schedule changeover of rotating equipments as per SOP, taking schedule plant sampling in open & close sampling system for routine analysis & trouble shooting, Oil top up in rotating equipments, taking plant round regularly for any abnormalities & normal reliable plant operation, filling of field logbook & log sheets for record & troubleshooting.
* Apart from these, routine LEL checks on process piping & vessels for any leak of toxic gas, hydrocarbon or flammable gas. Flushing of ISBL firewater system, checking of firefighting equipments for its healthiness & readiness for emergencies.
* Temperature Survey of exchanger, DP measurement of process vessels, checking of steam leaks in HP, MP, & LP steam system and also checking of plant housekeeping.

- HP STEAM TURBINE (SIEMENS)
- Centrifugal Compressors (Demag Delaval make with 10 MW)

- Air fin fan coolers, Combined feed exchangers Vessels

MAJOR ACTIVITY:
During Precommissioning & commissioning stage of Reliance refinery, I was involved in checking of correct process piping, chemical cleaning of process piping & passivation. speed instrumentation, direction of rotation for Elect. Motors, horsepower checks for safety of unit & good reliability. Cleaning & inspection of vessels & its connected safety equipments/devices, checking trial run of compressors & pumps. Utilities lines commissioning to ISBL. Catalyst loading [molecular sieve, Activated alumina, Nickle base H-15 catalyst, Amberlyst-35], Plant leak ckecktest & inertisation, Catalyst sulfiding, Hot Hydrogen stripping, catalyst reduction, feed cut-in process & final product rooting.

DIAMINES AND CHEMICALS LIMITED. Baroda
SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE:
This was a Petrochemical based on indigenous technology plant & engineering by L & T, to produces series of Ethylene Amine products by using Ethylene dichloride, NaOH, and NH3.
MY ROUTINE ACTIVITIES COVERS:
- Normal plant operation with Standard operating conditions, handing over of equipments, compressors, Blowers fan, etc. as per Standard operating procedures.
- Monitoring of all equipments, which includes the Reactors, column, chemical injection package, tanks.
- Taking schedule plant sampling in open & close sampling system for routine analysis & trouble shooting,
- Oil top up in rotating equipments, taking plant round regularly for any abnormalities & for normal reliability of plant operation.
