This is a covering note regarding my Fire Service, OPITO Emergency Response Instructional career.

I have been involved in Fire Fighting and an Emergency Response Instruction since 1982.

I am currently a Emergency Response Advisor and Multi Disciplined Fire Fighter, Local Authority Fire fighter, Royal Air force Crash and Rescue Fire fighter and Instructor to the offshore emergency response teams. Firstly, a Retained Fire fighter for 5 years attending all fires. I attended various courses to advance my knowledge from Road Traffic accident procedures to Hazardous materials.

Then a Royal Air Force Fire Fighter, for which I was responsible for the day to day running of a busy front line unit fire rescue service, Qualified Breathing Apparatus Servicer and Breathing Apparatus Instructor for the last 6 years of my service, but primarily my role was Airfield Crash Fire and Rescue on all current passenger and military aircraft for 15 years. I was also employed at the Royal Air Force at the Fire Service Training Centre at Manston in Kent for 3 years. My duties were varied, from providing Fire safety in Hot Fire practices, creating scenarios and training exercises, BA simulators and Aircraft simulators, maintaining BA equipment; Instructing qualified Fire Fighters on BA procedures. And instructing professional fire-fighters for advancement in career.

Presently I am employed at RGIT Montrose as a Emergency Response Advisor, instructing OPITO fire-training courses to the oil and gas industry. I am responsible for onshore / offshore installation emergency response.
I have worked with many nationalities from around the world but mainly from Saudi Aramco where I have instructed over 150 delegates to a high standard. I have also made recommendations on some delegates to return for leadership courses. I have also instructed fire Team and leader's courses in Batam Indonesia Last year.
I would be willing to step into a management role and instruct. Here I have recently instructed quite a few of other nationalities working in Angola,. I also have many presentations to use and I have many contacts I could use if needed.

An Accomplished, self motivated, Resourceful Emergency Response Advisor, Crash and Structural Fire-fighter / Instructor with 24 years experience of Actual Fire & Rescue Incidents, which 3 years was spent at the Royal Air Force Fire training School and 3 ½ years at RGIT Montrose.
