Saudi Aramco 1996 - Present

Senior Liaisonman / Foreman Drilling and Workover / Dhahran, Saudi Arabia
Married on resident status in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Providing wellsite supervision on Directional / Horizontal / Multi Lateral, drilling, workover and completion operations, on land / offshore with company and contractor owned drilling rigs.. Responsibilities encompass the well site planning, drilling program verification for accuracy, locating equipment and the implementation of the scope of work with minimum supervision or assistance from third party service representatives.

Developed and implemented a pre and post contractual acceptance program for drilling contractors offshore and land rigs

Developed the contractual equipment requirements for the current offshore drilling programs and the fast track extended reach drilling programs for high density population area's, onshore

Served as a committee member that was responsible for developing the Emergency Response Procedures for the Saudi Aramco Offshore Oil Fields, Standards and Training Requirements for Saudi Nationals. I am currently developing a new Standards and Safety Requirements for Offshore Drilling and Workover Units.

Senior Drilling Foreman / Saudi Arabia /Qatar Offshore 1993 to 1996
Contractually prepared and moved from Egypt a offshore jackup for 2 year contract for Saudi Aramco. Drilled and completed horizontal development wells in various fields offshore Saudi Arabia. Moved rig to Qatar for 1-year contract for Oxy. Supervised various major rig upgrades for the contract prior to commencement for Oxy. Drilled extended reach horizontals into the Arabs, many being multi-lateral.

Senior Drilling Foreman / Post War Kuwait 1991 to 1993
Participated in the post Gulf War reconstruction of Kuwait's Raudhatian, Sabriyah, Minagish, Magwa, Ahmadi, Burgan and Umm Gudair oilfields. Drilled and worked over oil / gas wells damaged in the Gulf War without assistance from third party service contractors. Drilled and completed Kuwait's first directional dual completion.

Developed a rig moving technique that reduced the in field rig move time from 36 hrs. to 6 hours.

Implemented time saving operations the reduced the average workover of nine days per well down to five with significant impact on rental tool costs.

Parker International Drilling Co. 1987 to 1991

Drilling Superintendent / Miramar / Chad / Niger
Exploratory drilling in Chad for Esso Exploration. Provided the client with road and location construction, one drilling and one workover rig in remote desert to sub-tropical locations. Supervised the construction of the roads, locations, camp areas and the daily operations of both rigs and catering for all the camps. The drilling rig was farmed out to Elf for two wells in the deep desert of Niger. Organized both rig moves through three of the neighboring countries without loss of equipment and or projected time. Operated completely without supervision on a two well program for Elf and provided total services to the client through a two-man office in Niger.
Final project was the rig up of the largest helicopter rig in the world for the first well for Amoco in northern Miramar.

Developed a rig move procedure that reduced rig move time by 30%

Helmrich & Payne International Drilling Co. 1985 to 1987

Senior Toolpusher / Venezuela
Drilled 18,000 + oil wells in the Anco, Maturin area of eastern Venezuela. The wells consisted of high-density shale's inter bedded with high porosity sands that contributed to sever differential sticking problems. Spanish was the only language spoken for communication with the rig and operator personnel.

Santa Fe International Services 1981 to 1985

Senior Drilling Foreman / Offshore Indonesia
Operations included directional dual completion oilwells in the Arjuna field for ARCO. These wells normally were completed within ten days. We reduced this time from spud to release in seven days with oil in the tubing. Used techniques like pumping cement through the drilling assembly to combat massive lost circulation above the gas cap. Resided in Singapore.

Global Marine Drilling Co. 1973 to 1981

Driller / Columbia / Panama / Nicaragua / Gulf of Mexico / California / Canada
Started working as a derrickman aboard drill ships and progressed to the driller's position. The drill ships were all exploration drilling some of it being HPHT. Worked in various shipyards as rig up crew and was stationed in Canada to assist in the building of the jackup fleet that they now operate worldwide.
