I. 1997 TO 12-10-2004:
Position: E&I Department Head & QA/QC Manager.

Duties: To ensure all projects are constructed on time, safely and within budget by coordinating projects, planning, man power utilization, materials & equipment deliveries & timings to their optimum opportunity. Correlate information and ensure availability as necessary, incorporating vetted procedures & specification. Liaise & communicate with client, vendors, other contractors of all disciplines, attend meetings, enabling accurate and precise information availability to brief project manager on overall status.
Additionally complete control of all construction, installation & erection activities, all testing, pre-commissioning & commissioning, including DCS
system, with added responsibility for training clients direct hire staff.

Testing & pre-commissioning essentially include:

1. DC/AC high potential testing for Cables, Over head lines, Motors Transformers,
Switchgears and all high voltage equipments.
2. Primary current injection.
3. Secondary current injection for relay calibrations.
4. Cables insulation & conductors continuity testing.
5. Bus bar low resistance Ductor testing.
6. Earthing resistance measuring.
7. Cathodic protection survey & testing for under ground P/L
8. Loop testing.
9. Pre – energizing and preparation for energizing.
10. Energizing, synchronizing generators and transformers.

Duties: To implement department heads directives & feed back accurate status information on all projects, verification of standards & specifications which are project applicable & their pertinent planning. Liaise & communicate with client, vendors, other contractors of all disciplines, to achieve timely & controlled completion.
Complete control of construction, erection & installation, testing, pre-commissioning & commissioning – including C/P & DCS, with training of clients direct hire staff.

Duties: To monitor, maintain & correlate a portfolio of all relevant conforming information as dictated by the electrical discipline philosophy requirements for all projects, prepare & maintain an acceptable register of dedicated tests, planning & progress, to achieve accurate and up to date hand over packages & manuals through contact, control & liaison with all discipline personal.
Additionally in control of construction supervision, commissioning, operation, maintenance & training.
