Reservoir Engineer 2005 to Date

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct/Assist reservoir simulation studies. This includes the following
- Prepare and analyze the required input simulation data (Production and injection data, rock/fluid properties, PVT, relative permeability, etc).
- Assist model construction, history matching, calibration, prediction runs, and analysis to address reservoir management challenges and requirements.
* Full Field Modeling using ECLIPSE/MBAL, PROSPER & GAP.
* Reserves Evaluation & Forecast.
* Integrated Reservoir Characterization and Reservoir Management.
* Geological Model Evaluation, and Petrophysical and Simulation Model Validation
* Advanced Well Test Analysis and Design.
* Design and Development of a Pressure Data Base Application, including all different Transient Tests and Static Pressures.
* Economic analysis of oil and gas producing assets related to acquisition, field development plans and reserve certifications for annual reports, financial and governmental filings
Executive (Reservoir) 2003 to 2005
Pakistan Oilfields Limited (POL)
Key Responsibilities:
* Performed numerous reserve calculations and projections using classical reservoir engineering techniques that include decline curve analysis, volumetric, pressure buildup/drawdown analysis and reservoir limits testing, PVT and gas analysis, and well log analysis.
* Prepared software & spreadsheets for empirical correlations of oil/gas/water properties, fundamental rock properties and relative permeability curves determination, oil reservoir material balance for conventional and fractured reservoirs and performance above and below the bubble point, gas reservoir material balance for normal/abnormal pressured reservoirs and equation of state for gas condensate reservoirs, oil/gas well performance, coning and water flux determination, waterflooding, near wellbore damage and skin effects, Pressure losses in wellbore, gas lift design and miscellaneous economic analysis etc.
* Assistance in DST, RFT, Perforation, BHP surveys and Coiled Tubing Operations.

* Worked as internee in Reservoir Engineering Department.
* Attended 4 weeks training program on "Reservoir Simulation"
* Got familiarization with ECLIPSE-100 and its different modules like Grid, Fill, and Graf etc.
