A highly skilled Well Site Geologist over 15+ years experience for shell Oman include 11 years with Baker Hughes Inteq, worked mostly in (vertical, deviated and horizontal) deep high pressure and temperature gas wells (include the deepest gas well in North Oman 6235 m ), some exploration and development shallow oil wells, LWD (triple combo) interpretation. And 6 years with Halliburton worked in deep exploration oil wells South of Oman and shallow exploration/development oil and water producer all over Oman

WORK EXPERIENCE:
2000 – Present Well Site Geologist Halliburton (Sperry-Sun)
I have been working with Halliburton (Sperry-Sun) Mud Logging Company as a Well Site Geologist for shell Oman since 2000 till present.

* Well site geologist for Petrogas oil company (Concession Butabul Block 7, Sahmah field, Sahmah 23) 3rd August-30th August 2004 (I have been worked for Elf Aquitaine Oman as a well site geologist in the same field 1990-1992)

* DrilSaver Engineer 5th July – 30th July 2004)
First trial with success in Oman PDO rig 86, DrilSaver is a real-time Torsional Vibration monitor, designed to identify the presence and magnitude of potentially damaging drill pipe torsional vibration (based on analyzing the surface torque to its original components).

* Early kick detection Engineer for few hitches. (both Baker Hughes and Halliburton)

1989 – 2000 Well Site Geologist Baker Hughes Inteq (Exlog)
I have been worked with Baker Hughes Iteq (Exlog) Mud Logging Company as a well site Geologist, (fully computerized units), worked mostly in (vertical, deviated and horizontal) deep high pressure and temperature gas exploration wells including the deepest gas well in Oman, (North of Oman) and the deepest horizontal well, and some developments, exploration shallow wells, LWD (Triple Combo), interpretation, (exposed to petroleum Engineer for 12 years, since late 89 till 2000).

* Flight attendant with Egypt Air for two years (1988/1989).
(455 flying hours)
1987– 1988 Geologist (remote sensing photo image interpreter)
* Geologist in Remote Sensing Center (Academy of Scientific Research and Technology). For one year (1987).

* Bachelor of Science, geology department with "good grade" from "Alexandria University", May 1986.
* Languages: Arabic mother tongue, English reading, speaking, writing and understanding.

Major Responsibilities:
* Supervise, QC and witness well logging operations and personnel to ensure high data quality is recorded in accordance to the drilling program,
* Pick casing and coring points in consultation with the drilling supervisor and Shell office to ensure integrity of casing shoes and full recovery of cores over reservoir objectives.
* Maintain detailed stratigraphic correlation with adjacent offset wells to monitor the progress of drilling and pick casing and coring points.
* well site core descriptions and provide a quick look wire line log interpretations,
* Prepare and transmit reports in order to keep the drilling supervisor and Shell office fully updated with drilling progress and provide a permanent record of drilling activities,
* Perform any operations geology function as and when requested by the Company
During my period as a well site geologist I liaise with the customer on a daily basis, setting new trajectory based on LWD LOGS, I have also participated in many geosteering wells keeping the well in a good reservoir

CARRIER DEVELOPMENT:
- Assistant logger for 12 weeks.
- Third man for 4 months.
- Second man for 28 months.
- Unit captain for 36 months.
- Well site geologist (Shell Oman, till present)
