Project Name: Ras Laffan Expansion Project (RLX,QGX), Al-khaleej Gas, Acid Gas Injection.

Project Scope: Construction of Trains 3/4/5 at (RLX) and Trains 4,5 at (QGX) for Gas Processing as an expansion of the existing trains, as well as all the supporting processing facilities such as utilities, new flare system, sea water intake facilities as well as new boil off gas facilities, condensate berth facilities and storage tanks. the project includes also a lot of modifications at the existing facilities to meet the expansion requirements.
The project scope also includes erection of all the types of equipments (valves, pumps, vertical vessels, heat exchangers etc).

Pre Commissioning and Commissioning: executing hydrotesting pneumatic testing, reinstatement, flushing/cleaning, drying, and N2 purging activities. startup of more than 63 systems (steam, mixed refrigerant, cooling water, propane refrigerant etc) as per the MAC ATTACK schedule.

Duties And Responsibilities:
1. Preparation for the project Method Statements/Procedure conforming to the project specification.
2. Preparation for the JSA's (Job Safety Analysis) for all the types of activities conforming to the project Safety Procedures.
3. Allocation of manpower and equipment with the coordination of Project Engineers.
4. Following all on site daily activities.
5. Daily progress reporting for planning department.
6. Liaison with the client representative at site to get the arising problems sorted out.
7. Liaison with the Quality Control Engineers to get the ITP's & QCP's approved.
8. Daily coordination with the QC inspectors.
9. Liaison with the planning engineer to get the project activities schedules approved.
10. Liaison with the material engineer to get the MAR's submitted/approved.
11. Liaison with the engineering department to solve the arising technical problems.
12. Liaison with the cost control department to ensure that the activities are being achieved within the project budget.
13. Liaison with the other engineering disciplines to get all the clashing problems sorted out.

Construction of new emergency Burn-Pits, Catchment Pits and Condensate Drain Pits. pre commissioning and commissioning of the flare upgraded systems.
