Salient Features: Thermal plant Located at Neyveli, feeding power supply to Southern States. NLC is also supplying Lignite to major factories needing coal as a fuel. It is also producing urea.
The existing Thermal Plant I is proposed to expand by adding 2 x 210 MW units.

¨ WEST COAST ROAD, NAGERCOIL
Salient Features: This is one of the important project is Tamil Nadu. Frequently reflecting is state Assembly. This project aided by NABARD. Government executing this project under state High ways department. By This project, it is proposed to connect coastal villages between Kanyakumari to Trivandarum.
Nature of Work: Project – In – Charge for this prestigious road – Reach I. Even though agreement period is 18 Months, this project is well ahead the schedule and this project completed in 16 months.
The existing 3.50m width road is expanded to 7.00 m width road with S.G. Mix WBM and B. T. Top.

¨ CONSTRUCTION OF SEWERAGE TREATMENT PLANT AT KODUNGAIYUR, CHENNAI.
Salient Features: The capacity of sewerage treatment at North Chennai is not sufficient at Kodungaiyur. Hence it is proposed to construct two additional Aeration tank and other accessories connecting with it, by the Chennai corporation, Tamil Nadu.
Nature of Work: Construction of Two Aeration tank, Sewage channel Etc., I am the In-charge of one Aeration tank, under me one supervisor. Continuously pumping percolating water with 4 nos of 5 HP pump and work done. At this site condition, we Achieved 50 lakhs progress Within 15 days.
The Aeration tank is 60 m x 60m with RCC floor and RCC wall.

¨ CONSTRUCTION OF WATER BUNGALOWS, BEACH BUNGALOWS AND LAGOON RESTAURANT, OLHUVELI BEACH RESORT, MALDIVES.
Salient Features: Previously this resort constructed and managed by Japanese concern. By that time due to poor construction all the buildings cracked and mostly damaged. Ministry of tourism, want to demolish this building and Construct a new one to run the resort.
Nature of Work: Preparing BOQ, negotiating with the contractors, finalizing the contract, executing the construction as per the drawing.
Water Bungalows: 200m Walkway jetty, 10 nos of Arrival jetty each of length 40m. Piers and 'T' are made of concrete, remaining all the structures are made of wood. This rooms are designed as leaf.
Beach Bungalows: 14 blocks of guest rooms. Each blocks have 4 rooms. G.F. is made of masonry wall and roof concrete. First floor is totally made of wood.
Lagoon Restaurant: It consist of Bar and coffee shop. It partly in water and Partly at land. Sun deck is constructed in lagoon and remaining building portions are at land portion.
¨ CONSTRUCTION OF GUEST ROOMS, INTERNATIONAL BAR, SPORTS COMPLEX, OFFICE, RESUARANT, POWER HOUSE, LAUNDRY, ARRIVAL JETTY ETC., IN DHONVELI BEACH AND SPA, MALDIVES
Salient Features: Previously, it is 25000 sq.m land area with 24 guest rooms, it function as a small resort in Maldives. Under the development ideas, another 25000 Sq.m land reclaimed, another 50 rooms with international competition facilities are constructed, new international bar, swimming pool, sports complex etc and it is promoted as a 5 star resort in Maldives.
Nature of work: Designing the structures for the buildings as planned by our Architect. Designing the water supply and sanitary line. Negotiating with contractors, finalizing the contract, Preparing BOQ, Program schedule, Executing the work with contractors/contract company as per drawing and finalizing the bill.
Guest Rooms: Totally 50 guest rooms of different grade are constructed with internal standards and facilities. Column and floor slab will be made of concrete and roof with timber structures. Designed at different pattern to attract the guest. Design should match the elegant of the building.
Bar: This bar is made partly in sea with 500 sq.m building area and 254 sq.m deck area. Deck partly constructed in sea. Column and beam are made of concrete, roof made of timber structures. 9m span timber trusses are designed to withstand the heavy wind load and transfer this load safely to the beams and columns.
Sports complex: 1000 sq.m tennis court and badminton court are designed with concrete slab base. 10' fence around with 2" pipe at 8' c/c.
Power house: This power house are designed for 4 nos of 425 K.V.A. Total power consumption of this resort is 950 KW. This generator room made of double wall periphery ( 3" Gap between) for sound proof. 12m span tubular truss are designed for roof.
This power house is combined with water plant and store. Water plant are planned at ground floor and store for water plant and power house are planned at first floor. Tubular truss with plywood at top are designed for first floor (For storing material). Roof is designed with 12m span tubular truss are designed for roof.
Swimming pool: Max depth of this pool is 2m and it's capacity is 325000 litres. Surrounding is made of deck with 350 Sq.m. This pool is constructed near sea shore.
Restaurant, Office etc.,: This building are designed with concrete column, beam and timber roof structures. This buildings are designed to the international standard and considering the importance of the guest facilities, their requirements.
