OBJECTIVE
To secure a position in the marine/offshore industry where, I can demonstrate my abilities in the fields of electronics, electrical, and dynamic positioning.. I am currently on assignment in the Bay of Campeche, Mexico. I am of Ukrainian nationality and speak excellent English and poor Spanish.

WORK EXPERIENCE
2002-Presently: DP Technician/DPO onboard the Global Industries vessel "Titan-2" with SDP-21 system onboard.
2000-2002: Assistant Electrical Engineer onboard the Global Industries vessel "Titan 2" Responsibilities include maintenance and repair of all electrical/ electronic equipment onboard. These include, but not limited to, SCR Drives, main propulsion motors/ generators, 800mt crane, UPS, data loggers, and associated switchgear equipment. Duties include supervising and training the rest of the electrical/ electronic personnel onboard. Assisted in the installation of a DNV approved Class 2 Konsberg Simrad Dynamic Positioning system that included integrating existing vessel's thrusters with newly installed outboard thrusters. Was involved in the installation and implementation of new sensors added to DP system to include C-Nav and Seatex DGPS, MTS Fanbeam, Bandak Mk12 Tautwire, and Konsberg HiPAP acoustic positioning system. Also, I am currently performing assisted DP Operator duties on the bridge and logging DP console watch experience time to use towards the accreditation of a DP Operator's certificate from the Nautical Institute.

1994-1998: Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from Kherson Marine College, Ukraine.

February, 2002: Completed Simrad's Dynamic Positioning Operators Induction Course. Earned Certificate and Nautical Institute DP Operators log book.
June, 2003: Certificate of Competency (no. 02268/2003/01) from Ministry of transport, Ukraine, certified as First-class electrical engineer.
July, 2005: Endorsement (no. 02268/2003/01) from Ministry of transport, Ukraine.
May, 2005: Certificates from Shipping Industry of Ukraine in the skills of Personal survival, fire fighting and prevention, basic first aid, personal safety, and emergency rescue boat operations, Advanced Fire Fighting and Medical Emergency.
