EMPLOYMENT HISTORY:
BOSKALIS WESTMINSTER MIDDLE EAST 05/09/2006-07/09/2006-QA/HSE MGR. on the onshore/offshore dredgeing of 25 km. of pipeline trench. This is part of the KUWAIT OIL COMPANY expansion project. I inspected and consulted on the coffer dam portion, onshore and the offshore excavation work done by two vessels (MV The Queen of the Netherlands, MV Vlaadgren) along with five service vessels. My contract was only two months to assist in getting the project started.
INFINITY CONSTRUCTION SERVICES 01/15/2006-05/03/2006-Site HSE supervisor for a major upgrade at Valero's Houston Refinery. My duties were to supervise and manage the day to day activities of a field crew. I was accountable for investigations, workman's comp. cases and all required reports.
SAKHALIN CONSTRUCTION LIMITED 09/01/2005-11/07/2005
Shell LNG/OET Korsakov, Russian Federation-HSE Manager-HSE manager for a sub-contractor doing general civil work. This was part of the large Shell Oil project on Sakhalin Island. This was constructing the LNG plant and off shore loading facility.
STARSTROI LLC.- 01/15/2005-08/01/2005
Sakhalin Island Phase II-HSE Manager Spread II-Sakhalin Island, Russian Federation. HSE Coordinator supervising a staff of eleven safety, fire, environmental and health professionals. Also there were three translators and a transport/logistics advisor and his assistant. This crew in turn managed a work force of approx. 600 workers spread out over 174 km. Working on a dual pipeline system to connect a northern field with a southern port.
MWH China Constructors-2004
Nanhai/Shell-HSE Manager-This was a project for a Shell refinery located in Guangdong Province, P.R. China. Bechtel, Foster-Wheeler & Sinopac was the general contractor. MWH's Safety Program was working directly under Bechtel directions. I was the HSE manager for the W/WW treatment plant portion of the project. My duties consisted of establishing or approving job procedures, conducting safety meetings, job inspections, training and managing the department. It consisted of four safety engineers, for MWH and four for the subcontractor, supervising 700 workers daily. During my tenure as safety manager we accumulated 2.25 million safe man- hours.
MWH Constructors-2002 & 2003
Tobacco Road Water Treatment Project--HSE Manager-Augusta, Georgia U.S.A.-A 45 mgd drinking water project. Our average work force was 150 men per day. The project experienced one LTI in fourteen months. As HSE manager I insured compliance with state and federal safety and environmental rules. I had the normal duties of writing procedures, conducting safety meetings, training, record keeping and site inspection.
NEWTP-Houston, Texas- Construction Superintendent-this was a 100 mgd project in Northeast Houston. We constructed 10 miles of 36", 42", 60" and 96" pipe, poured 7,000cy of concrete, built a tank and all the associated filter and pump buildings.
MWH Constructors-2001-Construction Superintendent-Remediation project to remove hazardous waste from Chanute AFB Rantoul, Illinois.
Texas Department of Criminal Justice-1999 – 2000-Maintanence manager for a prison unit. Duties included managing the potable water plant, sewer plant, plumbing, water and gas distribution. My duties were to make repairs and new construction along with all the sampling and testing for quality of water. I supervised, inspected and managed the safety of my group. All work was performed by inmates. We achieved two years with no LTI's.
Dow Chemical Company-1970 - 1998
Dow Pipeline Company- 1970-1992 Inspector/Superintendent for cross-country pipelines. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Dow Chemical, we constructed new pipelines and repaired existing ones. The job also included maintenance of pumps, motors and compliance with state and federal regulations. We also constructed booster stations along the pipelines. As a site inspector I was also site safety supervisor. The crew sizes were from small maintenance crews to large construction crews.
Dow O.S.B.L.-1992-1998 Construction Superintendent-This portion of the pipeline company took care of the construction and maintenance of pipelines inside the world-class petro-chemical plant complex. Most of this work was in pipe racks. On a daily basis I supervised work on chemical, hydrocarbon products, steam, air, nitrogen, water and wastewater pipelines. It was my duty to insure the inerting, LOTO and safe entering of pipes before work. A safe work procedure was required for each project. This included a one line diagram, MSDS, physical isolation and LOTO. I was responsible for signing off on each of these checklists before I could write the SWP.

I have constructed orientation and training for over 5,000 workers in my career.
Knowledgeable of QA/QC procedures dealing with concrete and welds. Qualified to read X-ray film to API 1104 & 31.3. I am also knowledgeable of UT and dye penatrent inspections.
