Presently I am working in a multi national company, SAUDI ARAMCO contractor. 3/01 to - Till now - Instrumentation Engineer / QA/QC Inspector, FAFCO, Saudi Arabia. (FAFCO is a leading construction contractor to Saudi Arabian Oil Company.)
Monitored and executed instrumentation projects in Saudi Aramco Gas Plants, water injection plants, Refineries, both in the field as well as in the control room. Met the specifications of Saudi ARAMCO. Installed Distributed Control System by Foxboro.
12/99 to 3/01- Instrument Engineer, Engineers India Ltd., India
In the Pipeline booster project at Jamnagar, defined the Control Logic philosophy for pumps, installed pipeline instrumentation, conducted Field Inspections, calibrated instruments. Monitored Instrumentation, developed procedures for instrumentation, and tested Honeywell programmable logic controllers. Teamed and coordinated with other engineers. Monitored work conducted by contractors. Issued project completion approvals to contractors. Total Value of project $ 260 Million.
5/98 to 12/99 - Senior Engineer, Engineers India Ltd., India
In the Haldia Petro Chemical Project, conducted field inspections of instrumentation and controls, such as valves, transmitters, thermocouples, analyzers etc. Verified HONEYWELL Distributed Control System software. Reviewed design change requests and monitored contractor's compliance. Performed technical audits, conducted workshops to contractors. Total value of project, $11 Billion.
4/95 to 4/98 - Project Engineer, SANGHI GROUP, India.
Monitored digital, hydraulic and pneumatic controls systems of the paper machines. Prepared drawings based on process parameters, installed instruments according to drawings, Calibrated instruments. Installed panels, cable laying, etc. Prepared pre-commissioning, and commissioning and post commissioning documentation. Trouble shooted several types of machines, such as paper machines, pulp mill, boilers, FISHER ROSEMOUNT Distributed Control Systems, Siemens DC drives, located faults in minimum time. Project Value $ 67 Million.
