I- Previous Job Responsibilities – General Co. For Batteriers.
Quality Control Chemist
- Follow up the different manufacturing stages of MnO2, which used in dry Batteries.
- Supervise workers and analyze sample(s).

II- Job Responsibilities - GUPCO.

2.1. Senior Chemist – from 1988 to 1992
2.1.1. Administrative Work
* All the required administration work of preparing and issuing memoranda, Correspondence, filing... etc
2.1.2. PC Computer Work
* Aware of various computer software MS DOS, PC tools, PW…etc.
2.1.3. Monitoring
* Quality of injection water produced out of the waterflood process plants.
* Quality of drinking water produced out potable water processing station (watermaker)
* Corrosion rate throughout injection water network
* Bacterial activity throughout injection water network
* Scaling tendency of the different kinds of connate water
* Compatibility of injection water with the different kinds of connate water.
* Residual Organic phosphonate (scale inhibitors) in different kinds of connate water.
2.1.4. Quality Control
* Processing of crude oil throughout process plant facilities
* Processing of Potable water throughout watermaker plant facilities
* Processing of injection water throughout the waterflood process plants
* Lubricating oils used for gas turbines and compressors
2.1.5. Especial Assignment
* Prepare material requests for Chemicals, consumables, and instruments spare parts.
* Simplify standard testing procedures that used in the different analyses and translate into Arabic.
* Evaluating the different kinds of chemicals that are injected in the process plant facilities, injection water processing plants, and O/P that are:
(Demulsifiers, Scale Inhibitors, Corrosion Inhibitors, Biocides, Oxygen Scavengers... etc)
* Operation and calibration of precision instruments like spectrophotometers, dissolved oxygen analyzers, pH meters, conductivity and turbidity meters, titroprocessor, ICP-
AES...etc.
* Maintain high level of safety measures while dealing with hazardous materials.
* Prepare and held Div. monthly safety meetings.

2.2. Section Head/Chemical Evaluation and Research Dept. – from 1992 to 1995

* Make sure that HSE regulation and instruction are strictly applied and provide convenient PPE for all workers and ensure that all subordinates are acquainted with the division emergency plan.
* Aware of various computer software (Windows and MS Office)
* Analyze and recommend evaluation for subordinate performance.
* Ensure that the PM schedule of Labs instruments is going.
* Coordinate with other departments within the Div. to achieve high QC and monitoring system.

* Follow up staff behaviors to ensure that they strictly adhere to HSE instructions to have Zero record of accidents, fires and injuries.
