Summary:
Initially trained in general Mining/Surveying/Drilling, I have spent more than twelve years working in the oilfield industry. Majority of this time as Contractor to Mobil, ExxonMobil and Shell Oil in the capacity of technical Advisor/Team leader, before promotion to Construction Superintendent for most current assignment.
For more than fifteen years I have been responsible for all types of civil, mechanical and rotating equipment projects. As a part of this, I have participated in all areas of technical and planning aspects. Majority of these assignments in locations with limited access and difficult working conditions.
I have ten years of experience as the technical advisor/team leader at Mobils QIT Terminal Eket for rotating equipment (including all rebuilds) within the whole of Nigeria.
Have managed workforces ranging up to 570 workers.
Fully computer literate.
Fluent in German and English.
CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

On contract to ExxonMobil Indonesia, North Sumatra Offshore – Aceh, Indonesia
Construction Superintendent responsible for both phases of a 30 million USD project to enhance natural liquid gas production at PT Arun LNG Plant (size 420,000,000 cubic feet of gas per day). Size of workforce was 570 people composed of expatriate and Indonesian workers.
Phase I addressed the major overhaul and modification of the existing H2S/Sulfur Recovery Plant Activities included supervision of all planning/scheduling, construction activities on existing plant structures and planning of detailed work procedures.
Phase II included the planning, scheduling, execution and completion of a major Linde Air Separation Unit with capacity of 8000 Nm3 per hour added to the existing Sulphur Recovery Plant.
Activities included monitoring daily progress, QA/QC, technical assistance and setting up a procedure and permit system to comply with ExxonMobil's OIMS Safety System. Project increased output of plants liquid gas by 30 percent.

Overseas Technical Service
On contract to Mobil Producing Nigeria at Qua Iboe Terminal.
Advisor on all non-automotive rotating equipment with diesel and natural gas engines. Manufacturers included amongst others Caterpillar, Lister, Perkins, Cummins and Fiat. Responsible for setting up and commissioning of rotating equipment, carry out preventive maintenance and complete engine rebuilds.

Responsible for all technical aspects of all projects the company undertook during this period.
Major projects included:
Civil servant housing projects, State Government, Jos.
Building of several earth dams in Jos and Bauci States.
Opencast mining for tin and columbite at Jos, Nassarawa, Keffi and Bauchi.
Setting up and building a heavy equipment workshop at Jos for LQL.
Building of the companies premises and staff housing at Jos.
Rebuilding of Caterpillar gas engines for Mobil Producing Nigeria Ultd, Eket, and installing them on various offshore platforms (Asabo, Enim, Itim, Utue, Edop,Ekpe).
Rebuilding and installing generators at Maritime Academy, Oron.
On partial hire to Oceanics UK Ltd. 1991-1994
Party Chief, offshore surveying and mapping, pipeline surveys, rig positioning, compiling of reports for Shell, Agip, Ashland.
Survey activities include: Side scan sonar, Magnetometer, GPS, Transponder, Echolot and 3D Seismic.
