Senior seismic interpreter with a strong background in petroleum and structural geology, gained through working on a wide range of fields in different structural settings in the Syrian Euphrates Graben area. A skilled user of the Geoframe and OpenWorks software suite. Completed seismic interpretation, well-to-seismic ties and time-depth conversion projects independently. Worked in integrated subsurface teams which resulted in drilling more than 18 successful wells. I have a solid understanding of other disciplines such as reservoir engineering, production geology and petrophysics.
Befor that I have worked at the Atomic Energy commission of Syria as a Geophysicist at the national Magnetic Observatory.
- Current responsibilities are:
* Deliver state-of–the–art interpretation products of the Tanak, Younis, Sahit and Shdeha fields.
* Significant contribution to open-hole logging and production logging evaluation.
* Mapping sub-surface structures using all available techniques and incorporate drilling results in the latest maps and static models and to contribute to the identification of drilling opportunities and the subsequent well proposals including the geophysical risk analysis for proposed well locationsof these fields.
* Involved in onshore seismic acquisition projects and in contractor re-processing QC.
* Considered to be cooperative and an effective team-member who can be relied upon to deliver to set deadlines.
* Tanak CPF and Al Ward CPF Production Seismology Focal point.
